Loved getting away for a little grown up time with my hubby. A few years back I discovered when we were eating at in SD and I’ve loved it ever since. They use organic grapes and some very cool and unique fermentation processes. Check out their Chardonnay 😋

Being outside is the fresh air surrounded by trees is amazing for stress and anxiety among many other things. This practice of shinrin-yoku or, forest bathing – has the power to counter illnesses including cancer, strokes, gastric ulcers, depression, anxiety and stress, Dr. Qing Li, the founder of this therapy states. It boosts the immune system, lowers blood pressure and aids sleep. It is estimated that we spend as much as 93% of our time inside disconnected from nature. Try incorporating some forest bathing into your routines and see how much better you feel! Here’s what to do:
First find a spot. Let nature enter through your ears, eyes, nose, mouth, hands and feet. Listen to the birds singing and the breeze rustling in the leaves of the trees. Look at the different greens of the trees and the sunlight filtering through the branches. Smell the fragrance of the forest and breathe in the natural aromatherapy of phytoncides.
