Get to know Jeremy 👇

Hi, I’m Jeremy Ocasio, Physical Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer. With a DPT and MS in Clinical Health Science from the University of Delaware, I love helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love. Being a PT is my favorite way to serve others — probably because I’ve been the patient more times than I can count 😂.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me hitting the gym for CrossFit and jumping into local competitions just for fun. I bring that real-life perspective (and competitive energy!) to every session with expert care, humor, and plenty of encouragement.

Looking to gain hands-on experience in a small, patient-first physical therapy practice? We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our team in Park Ridge, NJ. We’re a small, community-oriented office where every team member directly impacts the patient experience. If you’re looking to gain real-world exposure in a supportive environment, this is a great opportunity.

Duties:
This role offers a mix of patient care support and front desk responsibilities. Duties include assisting with therapy activities (prepping hot/cold packs, setting up machines, assisting with exercises) and clerical tasks. An interest in physical therapy, healthcare, or fitness is required. Friendliness, reliability, and great communication skills are essential, as you’ll play a key role in both patient care and the overall vibe of the office.

The position will start as part-time with potential for more hours if desired. We have 10-20 hours available and looking to hire 1-2 people.

Nearly a year in the making, a major chapter in my life has turned to the first page. Altius Physical Therapy officially opened today and I can’t help but think about what it took to bring this dream to life.

None of this was possible on my own. There were my patients and friends, always cheering me on to make the leap with constant reassurance that wherever I go, I could make an impact. And my coworkers and former students—who rode the wild ups and downs with me for the past 6 months but always kept me grounded in the moment. And my parents and family, who made this whole vision possible to begin with—always down to grab a paint brush or load up a car full of equipment. And most importantly my wife, Jenn, who's support, belief and encouragement never once flickered. It truly took a community to bring it all together.

The work has only just begun. I aim to bring my passion, expertise and commitment to the community that I am privileged to be a part of. I look forward to giving back to those who help make this such an amazing place for my family to live. This office was brought to life only through the incredible support of family and friends. Altius will always honor those roots as a family run clinic.

To those who helped me get here, thank you. To everyone else, I'm always here to help! 👋🏼
