When the unexpected happens, an Allegiance Patient Advocate can:

Manage and update medications so nothing falls through the cracks.

Coordinate care across doctors and providers.

Keep far-away family informed and reassured.

Review the home for safety risks.

Respond to emergencies and get your loved one to care.

Stand beside them in the ER and hospital, asking the questions you would.

And help get the right documents in place before they’re needed.

Think of us as the calm, capable presence in your corner — so your family can be family, and let us handle the rest. 💙

A medical alert button only helps if it’s worn — and if someone knows what to do the moment it’s pressed.

Medical alert devices have come a long way.

Wearables vs. in-home base units, fall detection for those unsteady on their feet, and GPS models for parents who still get out and about.

But here’s the piece people forget — who actually responds, and do they have your loved one’s medical information ready on the other end of that call?

That’s where readiness meets technology. A Patient Advocate can help families do research, ask the right questions and make sure the choice is the right one for your situation.

Most falls happen at home — often in the rooms your parent walks through every single day.

You don’t need a contractor to prevent the fall that changes everything. Walk the home with fresh eyes: clear the pathways, secure or remove loose rugs, add night lights along the route to the bathroom, put grab bars where footing gets slippery, and
make sure a phone is always within reach.

Fifteen minutes now can prevent a hospital stay later. Not sure what to look for? An Allegiance advocate can walk the home with you and flag the risks you’ve stopped seeing.

One of our clients — an 84-year-old woman who lives independently with a daytime caregiver — was home alone one afternoon while her regular caregiver was out at a medical appointment.

That afternoon, she slipped in the kitchen and cut her hand. She couldn’t drive herself, she couldn’t reach her family, and she wasn’t sure the injury warranted a 911 call.

So she reached out to her Allegiance Patient Advocate. Her advocate got in the car and drove over. She arrived, calmly steadied her, helped control the bleeding, and drove her straight to urgent care — the right level of care for the stitches she needed. Our client was looked after every step of the way.

An important note: if you’re ever facing an emergency, always call 911 first — even if you think it might not be “a big deal.” Your Allegiance advocate is here to help and guide you, but advocates may be assisting other clients and can’t always respond right away.

In a true emergency, 911 is always the right first call — and we’ll be there to support you through whatever comes next. 💙

It surprises most people: first responders are trained to check the fridge for medical information. A single, up-to-date sheet — medications, allergies, conditions, emergency contacts, and healthcare proxy — can save the critical minutes that matter most.

If your mom couldn’t answer their questions, would that sheet answer for her? Our Allegiance advocates help families build this information and keep it current, so it’s always ready.

A few weeks ago, we asked you a question: who can you actually trust to look after Mom while you are away?

It means more than a daily phone call.

When you Entrust your loved one to Allegiance, our Registered Nurse Patient Advocates show up in person.

They notice the things a family member on FaceTime cannot. The slight change in gait. The medication missed twice this week. The refrigerator that has not been opened. The mood that is quieter than usual.

Swipe through to see exactly what Entrust includes.
We are trained to see what others miss — and to communicate what matters before it becomes a crisis.

Entrust is not a monitoring service. It is clinical presence. It is a licensed professional who is accountable to your family.

So when you board that flight, you are not leaving your parent alone. You are leaving them with us.
