This baddie came in with standard earlobe piercings already, but wanted to spice it up and add some flair, while keeping things symmetrical. She ended up wanting matching helix piercings on opposite sides, normally we like to do cartilage piercings while working on one side at a time, letting it heal, THEN doing the other side- she wasn’t having any of that come back later nonsense lol.
So we ended up having a lengthy conversation about the importance of not sleeping directly on either ear, her choice is to now sleep on her back (which can be difficult to do if you haven’t trained yourself to do so) or purchasing a piercing pillow (we do carry those). Sleeping or putting constant pressure on piercings will not only almost always cause bumps, but can also cause the piercing to change angles and even possibly migrate from the original piercing position into a new one.

Thanks for coming through AGAIN we absolutely LOVE how they came out! I personally cannot wait to hand his purple “Soul Piercer” shirt! He has most definitely proven that he is, in fact, 100% a Soul Piercer- Born to do it, love to do it, will do anything to pursue it & couldn’t see him doing anything else (while being his happy self). Purple has a special place in body piercing history. During the era of the LGBT+ hanky code — a discreet communication system used for safety and connection — purple became associated with the emerging piercing community.

In the 1980s, when body piercing was still taboo in the West, a purple handkerchief worn on the left signaled that you were a piercer, and on the right that you were pierced or a piercee. It was a quiet way to find clients, mentors, and community before the industry had studios, magazines, or social media.

It’s a fascinating piece of our lineage and a reminder that body modification has always been rooted in connection, creativity, and resilience! Learning this history gives so much depth to the craft we practice today.

Super unique and fun experience performing these paired vertical labrets on one of my all time favorite clients .v.i.o.l.e.n.t who is always down, and like always, sat like a freaking rock and didn’t budge! We did these piercings in 14 gauge and plan on adding spikes to the top of the bars once healed! This is definitely a step up from your traditional snake bite piercings, and I’m totally here for it! Double helix for his very first trip to the piercing studio (first piercings EVER)! And you know what… he sat like a freaking rock! I personally couldn’t be happier with the angles and the overall outcome! I am beyond stoked that he (with guidance from his amazing girlfriend- who’s also a client of mine)chose me to help guide him on his piercing journey! Go forth and look like a total bad ass!

This baby-faced beauty came in for a glow-up, and definitely walked out with an extra pep in her step! First up was the single point piercing (also known as dermal piercing), which she was nervous for, after watching those insane online videos of them being performed, but she was relieved when I explained that I’d be using a GENTLE technique. We made sure you’d be able to see her jewelry with or without her glasses. Next up was the nostril… obviously after sitting so well for the dermal, she didn’t even budge when we pierced her nose. I had such a lovely experience with this lovely and her support person!
