Each June, we recognize Elder Abuse Awareness Month and provide education to help reduce abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of older adults.

Elder abuse is significantly underreported, with only 1 in 14 cases coming to the attention of authorities according to worldelderabuseawareness.com.

If you suspect an adult is being abused, neglected or financially exploited, report it immediately to the Kansas Protection Report Center at 1-800-922-5330.

To be eligible to receive KSFMNP coupons, the following criteria must be met:

𝗔𝗴𝗲: A senior must be 60 years old or older
(or at least 55 years old and a member of an Indian Tribal Organization, on the day the benefits are issued.)

𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹: A senior’s annual gross household income (before taxes are withheld) must be at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.

For example, a household of one must have an annual gross income at or below $29,526, or a monthly gross income at or below $2,461.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟬𝟭 𝗡 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁, 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴, 𝗞𝗦 𝟲𝟲𝟳𝟲𝟮.

Seniors may apply on-site from Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm, closed between 12pm – 1pm for lunch.
