Hi all - here's an invitation to join me online on Thursday, May 14 for an empowering talk & hypnosis session to reset your mind and body.

No need to worry about any pressure - there's no need to share or connect. Sit back (or better yet, lie back), relax, and let the magic unfold.

This month, we are centering confidence and self-worth.

We’re living in a society that teaches us to measure our worth based on productivity, appearance, and achievement. Of course, for many of us, our confidence feels unstable if we internalize those messages.

THE GOOD NEWS--> both modern psychology and wisdom traditions point us to a reframe:

Self-worth isn’t something you achieve—it’s something you practice.

Self-worth grows from:
CONNECTING TO & UNDERSTANDING OUR INNER (Buddha) NATURE
Self-worth requires radical acceptance & IT REJECTS PERFECTIONISM.
Self-worth breathes the air of ALIGNMENT & INTEGRITY.
It blooms when our actions align with our values.
Developing self-worth requires us to meet ourselves at a deeper level to know what feels RIGHT for us and then to enact those behaviors, ways, etc. The more we KNOW who we are, the more SOLID our foundation becomes.

Expect to:
– interrupt self-criticism
-reframe self-worth
– and practice a 3-step grounded way to build confidence from within
-enjoy a hypnosis journey to deepen your new practice

While it’s all too easy to point to capitalism, next month, we will challenge these standards by looking deeper at:

-how and why bodies are objectified & portrayed in the media

-how ‘success’ is measured in our society

-and how your ‘achievements’ have literally nothing to do with your personality.

How many times have u gotten in your own way?

The conscious awareness is there but still, no shifts. This is likely do to the behavior/idea/belief(xzy) feeding the ego. If the ego still enjoys xyz, its going to continue bc its habitual and beneficial in a way that creates tension between you and your higher self.

If youre curious how to uncover your secondary gains in order to ditch that old pattern, this is one area we explore in hypnotherapy. Im here to support peeling back the layers and creating new pathways in alignment with your integrity.

Comment if youve ever experienced this internal tension with "gains" and ill send you a little worksheet to begin your exploration.

Everything we access from stored memory is influenced by the present moment. For example if we feel angry while recalling a sad memory, its likely to amplify the power the past memory has over us. Just as we can breathe life into joy and grattitude, we can somwtimes even deepen our pain by recalling memories and further activating and even amplifying its emotional charge. One way to turn it down is through hypnosis. Hypnosis can be a safe way to revisit memory without the activation a traumatic event often brings in talk therapy. Instead, we learn to turn down the power the past has over us in the present. Comment PMA if youre interested in learning more about the mind here!

April 9 Next Thursday's Group Hypnosis Reset will be at 6:30 pm on ZOOM!

This is a donation-based monthly offering with a talk & a hypnotic journey.

☆ The work of Roshi Joan Halifax deeply inspires this session. Roshi is a Zen priest & crone, anthropologist, anti-war/climate-change baddie/women's & LGBTQIA rights activist, writer, photographer, and founder of Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe, to name a few. Her books center on her experiences working in maximum security prisons and with people at the end of life.

☆In the group, we will explore conscious 🔑 teachings from Roshis "GRACE" training, namely: on compassion fatigue, why empathy isn't always helpful, and how to stand tall despite ongoing chaos.

☆We will briefly practice Roshi's widely known "soft belly, strong back" meditation. From there, we will explore a hypnosis journey in the spirit of giving and receiving compassion (tonglen).

☆Consider this group uniquely positioned as it will be a prayer 4 peace, a meditation, & hypnosis.
