The Autumn Equinox is not only a time to gather what has grown. It is also a time to strengthen what will carry us through the darker half of the year.
For the Repair the Temple Ritual, choose one small part of your home, workspace, or altar that needs attention. It may be something physically broken, but it can also be a cluttered drawer, neglected corner, dull tool, disorganized altar, or space that simply needs refreshing.
Begin by burning rosemary as incense or as a small herbal bundle in a fire-safe vessel. Allow the smoke to move through your chosen space as you settle your mind and mark the beginning of the ritual.
When you are ready, light your Autumn Equinox Candle.
CLEAR
Sweep, wipe, or remove anything that has gathered without purpose.
As you clear the space, say:
“What has gathered without purpose, I clear away.

REPAIR
Now tend to what you chose.
Repair it. Organize it. Polish it. Sharpen it. Refresh it. Rearrange it.
The goal is simple: leave something more useful, stable, or supportive than you found it.
As you work, repeat:

Use this water to lightly cleanse a nearby doorway, threshold, altar edge, desk, or another boundary connected to the space you have tended.
As you cleanse, say:
“May what enters support what I am building.
May this space hold what nourishes and sustains me.”
ANCHOR
Choose a small stone to become your seasonal cornerstone.
Hold it between both hands and name one quality you want to strengthen through Autumn:
steadiness · patience · rest · discipline · protection · endurance
Place the stone beside the space you repaired or refreshed.
SEAL
Place your hand on the space or object you have tended and say:
“What has been repaired, let it hold.
What has been strengthened, let it endure.”
Then physically use or test the space.
Open the drawer. Sit at the desk. Step through the doorway. Use the t
