Some rescue animals are still learning what safety feels like. 🤍

Not every fearful reaction is aggression.
Not every shutdown is stubbornness.
Not every anxious behavior is “bad.”

Sometimes it’s trauma.
Sometimes it’s survival.
Sometimes it’s a nervous system that has spent too long living in fear, uncertainty, neglect, overstimulation, or instability.

Many rescue animals carry invisible wounds.

Hypervigilance.
Difficulty settling.
Fear of touch.
Big reactions to small triggers.
Trouble trusting.
Anxiety when left alone.
A constant need to stay alert.

Behavior is communication.

And healing often begins not with force… but with safety.

With patience.
Consistency.
Gentle presence.
Regulation.
Compassion.
Spaces where they can slowly learn they no longer have to survive every moment.

Reiki can be a beautiful supportive tool alongside proper training, veterinary care, decompression, and nervous system support. It may help encourage relaxation, emotional release, grounding, trust-building, and a greater sense of calm and safety within the body.

Healing takes time.
Trust takes time.
But every soft moment matters. ✨

One of the hardest acts of love we will ever experience is helping an animal we love through the end of their journey. 🤍

In those moments, we often feel helpless.
Wanting to take away the pain.
Wanting more time.
Wanting them to know how deeply loved they are.

Reiki during end-of-life care isn’t about “fixing” or forcing healing.

It’s about creating peace.

A calm, loving space where an animal can soften, relax, and feel safe as they transition through their final chapter. It can help support comfort, reduce stress and anxiety, encourage emotional release, and bring a sense of grounding and connection — not only for the animal, but for the humans walking beside them too.

Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer is simply our presence.
Gentle hands.
A quiet heart.
Love without needing to hold on too tightly.

Reiki creates space for that.

It’s not about adding more time to their life.
It’s about adding peace, comfort, dignity, and love to the time they have left.

And that matters deeply. ✨

Some animals spend their lives holding everyone else together. 🤍

Therapy horses.
Service dogs.
Emotional support animals.
Herding dogs.
Livestock guardians.
The quiet, steady animals who help humans feel safe, grounded, comforted, protected, and connected every single day.

They carry more than tasks.
They often carry emotion, stress, tension, grief, fear, chaos, and the energy of the environments around them.

And just like people… eventually that weight can add up.

Sometimes it shows up as anxiety.
Hypervigilance.
Burnout.
Shutdown.
Behavior changes.
Tension in the body.
Difficulty settling or relaxing.

That’s one of the reasons I feel so passionately about supporting working animals through Reiki and energy work.

These sessions aren’t about “fixing” them.

They’re about offering a space where they can finally exhale.
A space where their nervous systems can soften.
Where they can simply receive instead of constantly giving.

Because the animals who care for us deserve care too. ✨

Their well-being matters.
Their emotional worlds matter.
Their nervous systems matter.

And when we support the whole being — body, mind, emotions, and energy — they’re able to continue showing up for the world in the beautiful ways they were born to do. 🐾

There’s something profoundly healing about being in the presence of a horse. 🤍

Horses don’t care about masks, titles, perfection, or how well you hold everything together.

They respond to energy.
To nervous systems.
To authenticity.
To what’s happening underneath the surface.

That’s part of why equine-assisted healing work can feel so powerful.

Horses have an incredible ability to mirror what we carry — stress, grief, overwhelm, guardedness, fear, disconnection — while also inviting us back into presence, grounding, safety, and connection.

At our retreats, healing doesn’t happen through force or performance.

It happens in quiet moments.
A horse choosing to walk toward you.
A deep exhale beside you.
A moment where your nervous system finally softens enough to feel safe again.

We create spaces where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, spend intentional time with horses, and be supported exactly as you are.

No horse experience needed.
Just an open heart. ✨

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed, burned out, or simply craving something deeper… our equine retreats may be exactly what your soul has been asking for.

Feel free to reach out with questions or to learn more about upcoming retreats. 🤍

Some animals carry more than we realize. 🤍

Therapy horses. Emotional support animals. Service dogs. Herding dogs. Search and rescue. Performance animals. The ones who spend their lives helping regulate, guide, protect, comfort, and support others.

Animals who work closely with humans often absorb stress, tension, emotions, and environmental energy right alongside us. Over time, that can show up as anxiety, shutdown, hypervigilance, fatigue, tension, behavioral changes, or simple emotional overwhelm.

Reiki offers these animals a space to soften.

A space where their nervous systems can settle.
Where they don’t have to “perform.”
Where they can simply receive.

Energy work may help support:
✨ Stress & tension release
✨ Emotional balance
✨ Nervous system regulation
✨ Recovery & relaxation
✨ Compassion fatigue support
✨ Connection & trust

These animals give so much of themselves every single day. Supporting their well-being matters too. 🐾

Happy Pride Month 🌈

I believe healing begins in spaces where people feel safe to be fully themselves.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, creating an affirming, welcoming space is deeply personal to me. Every person who comes here deserves to feel seen, respected, valued, and supported exactly as they are.

Whether you’re here for equine-assisted healing, Reiki, retreats, connection, or simply a moment to breathe — you belong.

This month and every month, I celebrate authenticity, courage, love, and the beauty of living as your true self.

You are worthy.
You are loved.
You belong. 🤍

With love, Rena 🌈💚
