Happy Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week! 💙 A big thank you to the incredible dietary teams who work hard every day to make sure our residents have nourishing meals, snacks, and the care they need at mealtimes.

There is so much that happens behind the scenes, from preparing meals that meet individual needs to keeping the kitchen organized and making sure every plate is ready to go. Thank you for all the care and attention you put into your work. We’re so grateful for everything you do for our residents!

Fall means cooler days, colorful leaves … and, say foot surgeons, an increase in patients who seek help for painful bunions! Perhaps one-third of all Americans have bunions, and the older we are, the more likely we are to suffer from this painful condition.

Barbara Langshaw-Bettez just hit fifty years with Health Concepts at Bayberry Commons! (And was honored with an article by The Valley Breeze!)

She started as a CNA and floor nurse and has since worn nearly every hat imaginable, caring for residents, mentoring staff, and helping build what makes Bayberry Commons feel like home.

When Mother Nature had other plans, more than 100 residents and staff brought the picnic indoors!

It was an afternoon filled with food, fun, laughter, and the kind of moments that make our communities feel like family. ❤️

Fall can be enjoyed in so many simple ways, and our bingo card has a few ideas to help bring a little extra seasonal fun to the day. From listening to fall music to enjoying a warm drink with a friend, there is no right or wrong way to play. Just pick a few that sound fun and enjoy the season! 💛
