Important Update Regarding Lash Lift Services
I wanted to make everyone aware that I recently became aware of the Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology & Barbering’s August 2026 newsletter, which includes a clarification regarding the scope of practice for estheticians. The newsletter states that lash lifts are not within an esthetician’s scope of practice.

At this time, I have not been able to find the detailed amendments or legal explanation behind this clarification, so I am seeking additional information from the Board.
Because I became aware of this guidance on August 6, 2026, I will honor and complete any lash lift appointments that are already scheduled in good faith. Going forward, I will be temporarily pausing all new lash lift services until I receive further clarification from the Mississippi State Board.
