You were never broken. You’ve been under-supported. Together, we can change that so you finally feel like yourself again.
.smith.wellness specializes in working with women with ADHD - diagnosed or suspected - who may also be navigating the frustrating, often bewildering world of chronic health challenges. If you’ve been told “you’re fine” when you clearly don’t feel that way — she gets it. Not just professionally. Personally. She’s lived through the headaches, the brain fog, the fatigue, and the deeply frustrating experience of being dismissed or handed advice so vague it was almost insulting.
Living well with ADHD isn’t about trying harder. It’s about understanding the connection between your brain and your body — and building supportive, sustainable systems that work for you, not against you, because you can’t fix one without addressing the other. Bernadette combines functional nutrition, ADHD coaching, and brain science — looking at what’s happening in your body (blood sugar, energy, gut health, nutrient gaps), what’s happening in your brain and what’s getting in the way of actually doing the thing. All in one place.
Her approach is rooted in four foundational pillars — sleep, food, movement, and stress & nervous system regulation — and guided by the principle that there is no one-size-fits-all path to feeling better. She often helps serve as a bridge between her clients and their doctors: helping them understand what’s really going on, how to ask better questions, and walk into appointments feeling informed and empowered rather than dismissed. She offers compassionate accountability throughout — the kind that feels like a steady hand, not a report card.
Bernadette holds certifications from the Functional Nutrition Alliance, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and the School for Applied Functional Medicine, a Certificate in Environmental Health, and is board certified by the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC).
