Zone 7a-7b. My natural pest control. Catnip-I break off thr stems & put it near the plants that pests like. I can't remember the name of the other lol...but the slugs & snails like it so its my sacrificial plant.

Zone 7a-7b. Berries & Smaller Squash variety. Steering away from the larger varieties as they take too long to mature & our growing season is short. Also, trying out some more vertical gardening methods this season & focusing on keeping up with pruning for better air flow, minimizing disease, root rot & bug infestations...for faster growth & better fruiting.

Zone 7a-7b. Purslane is flourishing this season! Literally in EVERY SINGLE bed🥰. When you harvest them, shake those seeds in the petals right back into the ground and toss the wash water back into the garden beds or new area (there will be seeds in the water)

Zone 7a-7b. My 2 mango trees. Started in the compost bit, moved indoors for the winter & now back outside. To get more leaves, simply pinch off the new growth at the very top...they plant goes into fight/flight mode to survive. Stay tuned...I will eventually try grafting them.
