TIME magazine has released a fascinating story on why N95s are the best masks to wear in the fight against the variant.

But beware, the market is still flooded with counterfeit masks from overseas that claim to give you the level of protection that N95s do, but in fact are not as protective as a NIOSH-certified mask.

Our masks are made in Paterson, New Jersey, and are certified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health, or NIOSH. This means that our masks have been rigorously tested for protective efficacy.

We are currently producing 70,000 N95s per day, and will soon have our comfort-fit masks back in stock.

Now that we have the capability to produce enough high-quality masks for the general population, we must work together with the government and the American people to get everyone masked up.

Protective Health Gear CEO Brian Wolin spoke to Reuters last week at our Paterson, NJ factory as the ongoing surge has upended life as we know it once again.

“If they could make these available to everyone on the planet, I personally believe every problem that we have wouldn’t be there at this particular time.”

Thank you Reuters for your timely and important coverage of the spread of and the necessity for high-quality masks for everyone.

The CDC revised its mask guidance Friday, recommending that people wear the "most protective masks you can." N95s offer some of the highest protection against airborne pathogens.

From Reuters: "The CDC said it wants to encourage Americans to wear masks rather than push them to wear the highest-grade face protection, but also explicitly said that respirators provide the best level of protection. It said that 'loosely woven cloth products provide the least protection.'"
