⭐️ PRAISE & PRAYER ⭐️

Branson is finally home and doing well! ❤️ We are very thankful to be back home after this 4-1/2 month long journey in Phoenix going through his 2nd Bone Marrow Transplant. 🎗️

We are also grateful to share that his recent scans and tests continue to show clear, negative results for Leukemia, and he is in FULL remission! 🙏🏻 PRAISE THE LORD!

While we celebrate this wonderful news, we still appreciate continued prayers 🙏🏻 as he navigates the recovery process and any post-transplant related challenges that might arise.

Thank you ALL for your prayers, love, support, and generosity throughout this journey. 🫶🏻 It takes a Village to get through this. We Love Ours!! ❤️

Extra prayers for our sweet Branson today and tomorrow please!! 🙏🏻🩵

He reached Day 100 this past Saturday. 🙌🏻 🎉 That’s a Big milestone after a Bone Marrow Transplant.

He shows no signs of GVHD (graft vs host disease).

He will have some procedures, scans and tests done this week. His first one is a Lumbar Puncture and a Bone Marrow Aspirate today and a whole body PET scan tomorrow following up with an MRI of his liver next week.

He is doing well!! 🙏🏻🎗️

His kidney levels are a little elevated so our specific prayer request please is for his kidney level to go back down to baseline.

We are looking at getting his central line taken out in two weeks and be totally off his immunosuppressant drug (anti-rejection drug) and FINALLY be able to go home home! 🏠

We will then still have weekly follow up appts which over time will go to twice a month and then monthly for at least a year. Phoenix Children’s will follow him for 10 years. We are SO thankful that they watch him so closely!

Thank you so much for all your continued prayers, love and support! 🎗️🧡

Branson Update!! 💙

Branson is doing great after his Bone Marrow Transplant, and we are so thankful for all the prayers, love, and support that have carried us through this journey. We still have to remain in Phoenix for a few more weeks for follow-up care and appointments as he continues healing and growing stronger each day. 💪🏻

Day 100 is May 23rd!! 🙌🏻

If you feel led to support our family during this last stretch of being in Phoenix until we can come home we have attached our Amazon wish list for gift cards to eat and get gas. We could use help with gas while traveling back and forth to appointments. I also have Venmo and Zelle is my email [email protected] or DM me for my cell number.

Thank you for continuing to pray for Branson and our family! 🙏🏻🎗️We appreciate every message, prayer, and act of kindness more than you know. ❤️

Update on Branson! 🩵
He is doing well and continuing to recover.

However….

Late Sunday evening Branson had acute pain on his side/stomach area. I took him to the Phoenix Children’s ER and after discovery he will need to have his gallbladder removed. So we were admitted to Hotel de’ PCH! 🤪 His surgery is scheduled for 11:30am today (Wednesday). He is 40 days out from his bone marrow transplant so I was concerned. The medical team is not and it is a laparoscopic surgery (minimally invasive). And all of his counts and bloodwork look great! 👍🏻

He had some gall stones for awhile now that have not been a problem. Well they are a problem now and very painful. Thankfully his pain is controlled.

Branson said “doc if I don’t need it, take it out.” Lol.. His sense of humor, trust in the doctors and most importantly Trust and Love in the Lord is inspiring. ✨

Please pray for our sweet guy as he has his surgery today and that it is quick and successful and no complications. And that recovery goes well. 🙏🏻

Thank you! 😊

THIS GUY!! ❤️🥹 Sooooo proud of him!! 👏🏻

Branson was discharged from Phoenix Children’s yesterday from his second ✌️Bone Marrow Transplant. He did it in record time, 5 weeks 2 days!! 💪🏻 He is a Miracle! ✨

The doctors first told us it would be a 6 - 8 week stay, possible complications, a trip to the PICU and prognosis for a second transplant not so good.

WELL!! What they didn’t know is that GOD was in control and HE was the one that cleared the path for this to be possible for Branson. 🙏🏻 HE is the ultimate healer, the True Physician and the ONE who determines the prognosis!

Branson was determined to get there, get through it and get out as he has a Life to live, dreams and goals to pursue!

I can’t put in to words how proud we are of this young man and all he’s been through and has accomplished! ❤️ Branson - 2, cancer - 0. Now, time to rest and heal.

Thank you all for your continued prayers, love and support. 🎗️🧡 And a HUGE thank you to all of our sweet nurses 😇 at PCH who helped us get through it all one day at a time!

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” ~ Exodus 14:14

“Be still, and know that I am God.” ~ Psalm 46:10

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Update: Day +26! We are getting there… slowly. 🙏🏻 Praise report!! Branson is doing well. His pain is better controlled and he has come off most of his pain meds. He has transitioned from IV meds to oral meds. We are “nesting” for the next two days. That basically means we ask the nurses for the meds at the time we need them. So they know when we are discharged we can manage his meds. I’m basically a pro at this by now. 💪🏻 Branson has expressed interest in his care and meds and is participating as well. I have also done his dressing change on his central line. He still has stomach pain at different times during the day. ❤️‍🩹 He is trying to eat and drink more and move around more. When going through a bone marrow transplant, the conditioning chemo regime makes you tank within days and you feel like crap for awhile. 😔 The layers are added on quickly and he is closely watched. Then comes the recovery and healing process. That looks different for every kiddo on this floor. We have been here 5 weeks today. Last transplant was a 9 week stay. We should not be here that long.
We are looking at discharge the middle of next week. We will still need to stay in Phoenix as he will have clinic visits 2-3 times per week. We are asking for continued prayers please as our sweet guy continues to heal and specific prayer that he gets his appetite back soon. 🙏🏻 Thank you all for your prayers, love and support. 🎗️🧡

📣 Branson has officially engrafted with his new cells!!🩸He has beat cancer twice!!✌🏻He is so amazing and such an inspiration to all of us. ✨ He is the strongest young man I know! 🩵 What was meant to destroy him has only made him stronger! 💪🏻 We are so thankful and grateful for his donor. 🙏🏻 We love and appreciate all our doctors and our sweet angel 😇 nurses who help us through this day by day journey. Thank you all for the continued prayers, love and support. 🎗️❤️

Isaiah 40:31 "...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint".

Psalm 41:3 "The LORD gives them renewed strength in this sickness, healing them as they lie on their bed".

Jeremiah 17:14 “Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise".

ALL the Glory goes to God!! 🙌🏻❤️

📣 Quick update! Day +13! Branson’s ANC (neutrophils in the white blood cells) was at 336 yesterday and today jumped to 780. As long as he is above 500 for the next two days he will then be considered engrafted!! 🩸🙌🏻 One day ahead of schedule! We are still not out of the woods however he will start to feel just a little bit better each day going forward! GOD is good all the time! 🙏🏻❤️🎗️

02/21/2026

Day +8: What does that mean? That means we’re one day closer to Branson’s new cell engraftment. 🩸 (Day zero was the day he got his new cells.) It means we have been in the hospital for 17 days so far this admission. It means we’ll be in the hospital for 17 more days and probably 17 more after that. If Branson is discharged at the 6 week mark instead of 8 weeks or 9 weeks like we were the last time we did his first bone marrow transplant, then we will have spent 250+ days total in all of our hospital stays. Some days are good, some are rough. I want to share more details about his journey but I won’t for two reasons: 1) I want to protect Branson’s privacy, and 2) Most everyone will NOT understand or you be shell shocked of what cancer really is and what it looks like. Be thankful you do not know. Childhood cancer is by far the worst thing ever to exist in this world. We are not victims in our journey and there is more positive than negative. There is alot of peace surrounding this BMT. We feel it and we feel everyone’s prayers. Thank you! Please keep them coming as we are not out of the woods yet. Yes Branson received his new cells… and now the real work happens as we wait and wait and wait for the new cells to engraft. His body is fragile and we pray against any infection or complication. We continue to trust God when most days I just want to yell at him and blame him for not stopping this! Again! We will get through this. I need to share this.. I met a mom the other day who had her 6 month old in her arms while her 3 year old son is fighting cancer and has relapsed for a 3rd time. They also have a 4 year old and have to fly across the country for treatment/clinical trial next week. When the mom said I hope this trial works as my son might not be here next Christmas. 😔 I also know of a mom I met during our last admission who has a 22 month old daughter who has been in the PICU for the last 3 months with complication after complication after her BMT. Oh my heart sank for them as I heard their stories. They are strong women and it is a different kind of mothering when you have no choice or control of what is happening to your baby whether they are 22 months, 3 years old or 16 years old. Many call us brave and strong and say we don’t know how you do it. We don’t have a choice and are just trying to survive. Day by day. We make the best decisons we can with the information in front of us. We DON’T have control of anything. God is in control! I will do my best to post an update at least once a week. Please keep these other families (Quinn 3 yr old, Amayah 22 mo old) in your prayers as well as our family. Thank you! We love you all! 🫶🏻
