Today, August 31, is International Overdose Awareness Day — a day to remember those we've lost to overdose, support those still struggling, and recommit to ending the stigma around substance use.

This year's theme, "25 Years On. Still Needed," is a reminder that overdose is preventable, and that starts with compassion, open conversations, and access to care. If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use, you don't have to face it alone. Our team is here to help — with judgment-free support, treatment resources, and guidance on harm-reduction tools like naloxone.

We are excited to announce the continuation of the Trinity Cares scholarship, we are offering this scholarship to high school seniors planning to further their education. This will be available to local public, private and home school seniors. We are going to award two $1,000 scholarships.

The application is attached to this post, if there are any issues with printing it the guidance office will have a copy available for you or you can get a copy from our facility.

This application must be completed and returned to Front Porch Family Care or your local guidance counselor no later than April 1st.
