More than 80 young athletes joined 17 coaches from across the country for a day of skill-building, teamwork, and fun. Led by Day of Champions Founder and CEO, former NCAA football coach Ken Heupel, participants learned valuable lessons both on and off the field.

What an incredible start to Day of Champions 2026!

Today, 80 young athletes ages 7–12 learned from 17 coaches from across the state during a day filled with skill-building, teamwork, and fun.

Founded and led by Ken Heupel, former NCAA football coach and CEO of the Oklahoma-based Day of Champions Sports Camp, the program helps young athletes grow both on and off the field.

In observance of Juneteenth Freedom Day, all Osage Nation Health System facilities, including the Wahzhazhe Health Center, Counseling Center, Grant Programs, and Title VI, will be closed Friday, June 19, 2026.

Please plan ahead and request any needed medication refills prior to the holiday.

⚠️ EARLY CLOSURE NOTICE ⚠️

Due to anticipated severe weather conditions expected to impact our area this evening, all Osage Nation Health System facilities will close at 4:00 PM today, June 11, to ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and community members.

This early closure includes the Counseling Center, Grant Programs, and Title VI offices. Patients with affected appointments will be contacted as needed.

We encourage everyone to monitor local weather reports and take appropriate precautions as conditions develop.

For updates regarding ONHS operations and weather-related announcements, please continue to follow our official page.

Due to forecasted weather conditions, the 2026 Day of Champions Sports Camp has been moved indoors.

πŸ“ New Camp Location:
Daposka Ahnkodapi Gym
215 W. 15th Street
Pawhuska, OK 74056

Transportation Update: All transportation slots from Hominy and Woodland are currently full. Families who did not secure a transportation spot will need to provide their own transportation to and from camp.
All registered campers and families have been notified of the location change. Transportation schedules for campers with confirmed transportation reservations will continue as planned.

UPDATE: We will resume normal operations tomorrow morning.

🚨 Emergency Closure Notice – Wahzhazhe Health Center (WZZHC) 🚨

Due to an unexpected internal water tank failure that has impacted the facility’s water purification system, the Wahzhazhe Health Center is temporarily closed today. Contractors are responding and repairs are underway.

All appointments scheduled at WZZHC today are impacted. Our staff is actively working to reschedule affected patients. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

All other Osage Nation Health System facilities outside of WZZHC will remain open and operate under normal business hours.

We will provide updates as soon as repairs are completed and services can safely resume. Thank you for your understanding.
