A month or so left, depending on weather and the ladies, to enjoy your time in the bee hut! I plan on getting in there as much as I can before it quiets down. Contact us to set up your special time. The benefits are amazing...and even without that it is simply a great experience.

I haven't posted too much here on the HBH page for a bit. Life has a way of taking over sometimes. We are still here doing our thing and helping those we have the blessing of sharing with. Tim and I continue to work on the new building. It is coming along, a bit slower due to some of those life things, however it is full of magic and good stuff. I had a reminder recently of how much that is still ever present in life and how powerful it can be...made even more so by the simple, magical way it presented itself. Harvest season is here too. Working on harvesting and drying the herbs for teas and medicine between the rain and everything else. The bees are happy and doing their bee thing along with working some of their own special magic around here. Life is good and we are excited for what is still to come. May the blessings of the harvest season touch and bless you and your life.

Crazy stuff happening all around. People being greedy, rude, manipulative, angry and pretty much just ridiculous. Saddest and worst part of it all....it doesn't have to be this way.
So grateful for the Haven here and all it gives us, all it offers and gives to clients, and all it gives to all the life and beings around us. Grateful for the teachings on life and how it truly works from the natural world all around me. The Earth is the greatest teacher, healer and friend.

The natural world has so much to teach and share with us. When our creature relatives come visiting it is definitely a good idea to pay attention and listen. If we are willing to be humble, always be a student and willing to open our hearts and minds to the messages, even the tough ones, we just might be able to 'save' each other.

We are the adopted children of the patriarchy
and its culture of colonization, hand-fed its beliefs
and raised in its murky waters.
In obedience, we have made our power digestible,
dampened our desire, compartmentalized our feelings,
and intellectualized that deep knowing which is beyond words.
The ideals of the patriarchy are so internalized,
they are mistaken for our own,
a built-in corset, a vague stench upon our skirts and dresses—
almost imperceptible, so hidden that
we easily feel defensive and threatened
when accused of colluding with the very system
we wish to uproot, more concerned with keeping face
than with the messy work of real awakening.
The Goddess path is an all inclusive in-the-body spirituality,
beyond dusty dogmas and far-fetched goals of the future.
On our awakening journey, we cannot cut off one part
and keep the other; we cannot chase light and ignore
the darkness it originates from.
Like extracting gold, embodied awakening
is a process of alchemizing all the fragmented parts
until the contours of something real, a shimmer—
a union waiting below the idea of oneness—
can arise to the surface and resume
its rightful throne inside your naked heart.

What heals the Earth can also heal us.
