This is Deepak’s evolution of his meditation course which I have been taking since 1996 with Jane. Her 1st time was 1994. It used to cost around 4000 when you include food, lodging & airline fees. Now you can take it in the comfort of your home at a very inexpensive price. Also you have internet access for months. Deepak presents the science of Enlightenment from India as a true transmission through the linage.

🔥 Idaho & Eastern Oregon Wildfire Update – August 6 🔥

🔥 Tartar Fire (Washington County, ID)
• 147,280 acres
• 53% contained
• Grew approximately 4,000 acres overnight
• 665 personnel assigned

The Tartar Fire remains the biggest concern today after significant overnight growth near Mann Creek. Firefighters are repositioning crews and equipment toward Midvale and the Highway 95 corridor, where additional containment lines are being scouted in case the fire continues advancing.

Crews successfully completed a strategic firing operation along Adams Creek Road yesterday, strengthening containment in one area, but new fire growth farther south has changed the situation. Fire managers say today, tonight, and tomorrow will be critical in determining the fire’s future.

Protecting lives, homes, ranches, Midvale, Highway 95, and valuable rangeland remains the top priority.

🌡️ Today’s weather features temperatures in the 80s and 90s, very low humidity, and generally light winds. However, winds are expected to increase heading into the weekend, which could lead to more active fire behavior.

🌫️ Smoke continues affecting many local communities

🚨 Evacuations remain in effect. Check Washington County Emergency Management for the latest evacuation information.

🔥 Big Grass Fire (Owyhee County, ID)
• 358,911 acres
• 39% contained
• 1,096 personnel assigned

Firefighters continue an aggressive full suppression effort to protect communities, ranches, critical infrastructure, and natural resources.

Yesterday, the fire remained active near Boulder Creek, north of Mud Flat Road, and around Red Canyon. Today, crews, dozers, and engines are constructing both direct and indirect containment lines while working to keep the fire north of Mud Flat Road and protect ranches and private property near South Mountain.

🚨 Level 3 GO evacuations remain in effect for:
• Triangle Reservoir
• Pleasant Valley
• South Mountain
• Flint Creek Road
• Juniper Mountain Road
• Western Mud Flat Road

🟡 Level 2 SET
• Silver City

🌡️ High temperatures in the 90s to near 100°, single digit humidity, and poor air quality will continue through the weekend.

🔥 Second Flat Fire
• 105,464 acres
• 76% contained

Firefighters are now focused on locating and extinguishing remaining hotspots while continuing patrols to ensure the fire stays within containment lines. Fire activity has remained relatively quiet along the Route 20 corridor, Willow Flats, and Skull Creek.

🔥 Coleman Creek Fire
• 309,803 acres
• 70% contained

Containment and mop up operations continue as crews extinguish remaining hotspots and verify containment lines. Fire activity has remained minimal along the Route 20 corridor, Drinkwater Pass, Wildcat Creek, and Alder Creek.

🌡️ Weather Outlook

Very hot, dry conditions will continue through the weekend. Afternoon humidity will fall into the single digits, with highs climbing into the 90s and lower 100s. Winds will generally gust between 15 and 20 mph today before becoming stronger Friday and Saturday.

The biggest concern over the next few days remains the Tartar Fire, where stronger weekend winds could test containment efforts near Midvale and Highway 95.

Love it & Live it.

Let's knock out two birds with one stone here:

1. Downsloping

2. Upper Treasure Valley vs. Lower Treasure Valley

Does it make sense now?

When the wind blows from SE towards the NW down the Snake River plain, it compresses the air. That compression warms the air up and dries it out.

Cool huh? Share with your friends. K, great thanks bye
