Ailyn and I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends, and our entire Perpetual Roots Ohana for the incredible love, prayers, encouragement, and support you’ve shown us since this kidney journey began in January 2025.
We have some exciting news to share…
💚 Keoki has officially been placed on the KIDNEY TRANSPLANT LIST at Vanderbilt Hospital! 💚
This is a huge milestone in our journey, and we couldn’t have made it here without all of YOU! 🙏🏽🤙🏽
📍 Important Update
Because Keoki is now officially on the transplant list, we will no longer be traveling until after his transplant surgery and recovery.
☎️ The call could come tomorrow… or it could take years. Whenever it comes, we’ll need to be ready to make the 4-hour drive to Vanderbilt Hospital at a moment’s notice. 🏥
❤️ Recovery is expected to take 6 weeks to 4 months, so we’ll be organizing a few fundraisers to help prepare for that season. We’ll share more details soon!
Lastly, we’ve been incredibly humbled by those of you who have reached out and expressed interest in becoming a living kidney donor. Your willingness to even consider such an extraordinary gift means more to us than words can express.
