Role: Flight Paramedic

Home: Fort Worth, Tx

Family: Got very lucky married an amazing women named Zoe she’s a knockout and intelligent working on her PharmD while being a mom and she’s just killing it! We have four little ones, two boys and two girls. One cat and one fish.

Free Time: What’s that? Well I guess I just got back into playing guitar and songwriting I was a performer for years before life happened. Like training in the gym, hiking, and wrestling with my little ones.

Favorite EMS snack: The last PB&J in the EMS breakroom that everyone overlooked, it just hits different at 2am.

Experience: 15 years in EMS with experience in the ER at a level 3 trauma center. I’ve worked disaster response, rural and urban 911 response. I’ve been involved in leadership as a captain and clinical lead educator. Field Training Officer at almost every service I’ve been a part of. I started my road to being a flight medic 7 years ago with an internship with Shannon AirMed that sparked an interest that never went away.

Favorite Part of Flying: Working with the best and learning from them. Managing critical patients while soaring through the air in a tin can playing with gravity. Even on the worst days, realizing how amazing my job really is when you look out the window at the vastness below you.

To our extraordinary past and present flight crews: thank you for your commitment, skill, and dedication around the clock. AeroCare 10 simply wouldn't be here without you.

25 years later, we still remember.

Join the Reeves County and Pecos community, first responders, and law enforcement as we come together to honor the lives lost, remember the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unity of September 11, 2001.

📍 Veterans Memorial Park
⏰ Ceremony begins at 9:11 AM | Please arrive by 9:00 AM

The ceremony will feature a Joint Honor Guard, flag raising, bell ceremony, 21-gun salute, National Anthem by Courtney Navarattee, and Taps by Erika Martinez of the Pecos High School Band. A special flag presentation will also feature cranes provided by Allison Crane.

ROAD CLOSURE:
The Y section of Kerr Street and Easterbrook Streetwill be closed during the ceremony. Please plan accordingly.

Let us come together as one community to honor the past, remember those we lost, and carry their memory forward. 🇺🇸

Our team loved hosting you for a hands on walkthrough of landing zone (LZ) setup, safety and how we can work together to coordinate seamless patient care in the fields of West Texas. Working hand in hand with our local ground partners is vital for keeping our community safe.

Drum roll, please! 🥁 We would like to introduce Daniel Casey, another one of our incredible members here at AeroCare X. Daniel completed orientation last week and is flying solo this week.

Role: Flight Nurse

Home: Hawley, TX

Family: I have an older sister (Anna) and younger brother (John) and 2 dogs Lucas and Cassidy

Free time: Most of my free time is taken up with more hobbies than I have time for, and remodeling my house.

Favorite EMS Snack: I never say no to Reese’s Pieces

Experience: 8 years of ER, and a year of stepdown, mixed experience the other 5 years

Favorite part of flying: My favorite part of flying is getting to work with the best clinical people. There is a ton of knowledge among our crew, and everyone wants to share that knowledge and make you better.

Family: Got a sweet hubby, Dustin and our two fur-babies, Ollie and Rex.

Free time: Working out, traveling, napping, avid Texas Tech sports fan

Favorite EMS Snack: Hot cheetos and Diet Dr Peppy

Experience: 9 years nursing experience including Rapid Response, SICU, ECMO team specialist and ER.

Favorite part of flying: The liftoff adrenaline and being a calm presence to both the patient, family and all healthcare teams we work with.

AeroCare 10 extends our heartfelt condolences to the members of Odessa Fire Rescue and the family of Lieutenant Isai Huerta following the tragic line-of-duty death that occurred while crews were battling a structure fire on Sunday evening.
Please keep Lieutenant Huerta’s family, the members of Odessa Fire Rescue, the other injured firefighters, and all those impacted by this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts are with everyone at Trans Aero during this heartbreaking time. The loss of a flight crew is felt across the entire aviation and medical transport community, where dedication, courage, and service to others are more than a profession — they are a calling.

From all of us at AeroCare 10, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, coworkers, and loved ones affected by this tragic loss. Though different programs may wear different patches, we are all one family in this industry. Please keep everyone impacted in your thoughts and prayers.
