As the weather warms up and the days get longer, it's natural to feel a renewed sense of energy and vitality. Spring is a time of transformation, growth, and renewal, and what better way to tap into this energy than through the practice of yoga?

As you step out into the sunshine and breathe in the fresh air, take a moment to notice the beauty and abundance of nature around you.

Just as the trees and flowers are coming back to life, so too can you awaken your own inner light and vitality through the practice of yoga.

Whether you prefer to practice outdoors like me, or in the comfort of your own home, yoga is a powerful tool to help us return home to ourselves, heal, and stay connected to what's really important.

So this spring, why not make a commitment to yourself to practice yoga and mindfulness regularly (maybe more outdoors) and see how it can help you to blossom and grow. One of my favorite ways to practice is to go for a mindful walk by the water.

So take a deep breath, step onto your mat, and let the sunshine and fresh air inspire you to remember the possibility and goodness that is available always.

The Pink Moon arrives on April 6th at 12:37 a.m. ET 🌸

As the first full moon of spring, la luna is sure to bring lots of sunlight and just all-around good vibes

Because full moons finalize the end of a lunar cycle, this event will come with a lot of closure and emotional release. Libra energy encourages us to seek harmony and cooperation, and to approach our relationships with fairness and open-mindedness. πŸ™

The Pink Moon also has cultural and spiritual significance in various traditions. In some Native American cultures, for example, it is associated with the blooming of pink flowers, symbolizing new growth and renewal. In other traditions, the Pink Moon represents fertility and abundance, and is seen as a time of manifestation and creation. 🌷

It is essential that you get outside and connect with nature for an energetic reset. 🌳

I invite you to plan an adventure, go for a hike, or dust off your bike and go for a ride. If you have a garden, you know this is a time when it needs your attention and extra TLC. This pink moon is an opportune time to reconvene with the natural world, allow for the energetic reset, and watch the rest fall into place.

πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ As a yoga therapist and teacher, I work with people dealing with chronic pain and mental health challenges. One small piece of advice that shifted my entire perspective about gratitude was: "Gratitude is a practice, not a feeling." πŸ™
🍁 On a sunny day in the fall, feeling down about the state of the world and the struggles of my clients, a friend reminded me of this important truth. It made me realize that gratitude is not just a fleeting emotion, but a daily practice that can be cultivated and nurtured. 🌻
πŸ“ I started keeping a gratitude journal, saying thank you more often, and reflecting on the positive aspects of my life and work. Over time, I noticed a shift in my perspective. Even on tough days, I was able to access a sense of gratitude through my practice. πŸ™Œ
πŸ’œ As a result, I've started incorporating gratitude practices into my yoga therapy classes and sessions. It's been amazing to see how it helps my clients shift their focus away from their pain and struggles and towards the positive aspects of their lives. Are you ready to dive deep into your yoga practice? πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ This quote reminds us that yoga is not just about physical fitness, but rather a spiritual practice that can bring profound benefits to our mental health. Often, we may approach our journey towards mental health as something that needs to be fixed, but this quote and yoga philosophy encourages us to take a different perspective. More often than not, the answer is not outside of ourself.
