Yesterday reminded me just how quickly a moment can change.

I had a phone conversation that did not go the way I needed it to go. I left that conversation feeling frustrated, defeated, heavy, and honestly just over everything.

But I still had business to handle.

Not long after that, I had another difficult interaction and ended up talking with a woman who was helping me through it. And anybody who really knows me knows one thing about me: I will have a whole conversation with a stranger. 😂 I love talking to people. I love connecting with people. I believe in energy, and I believe people can feel when what you’re saying comes from a genuine place.

Somehow, that conversation turned into us talking about business.

Because right now, that is where my mind is. Real estate. Golden Glow. My book. Building income. Meeting new people. Creating opportunities. Helping people and building something bigger for myself.

Within minutes, this complete stranger became a Golden Glow Body Oil customer. ✨

And that moment meant more to me than just making a sale.

It reminded me that one frustrating conversation does not determine how the rest of my day has to go. You can feel defeated in one moment and have an opportunity sitting directly in front of you in the next.

It also reminded me why I’m passionate about what I do. Of course I want to make money. I want to be successful. I want to sell homes and grow my businesses. But when you genuinely believe in what you’re offering, people can feel it. Passion makes conversations different.

That may have been one of the easiest sales I’ve ever made, and it happened naturally with someone I had never met before.

Yesterday wasn’t an easy day, but that one unexpected interaction reminded me to keep moving.

Things really can change in minutes. 💛

🌙 Why I Created Glow After Dark University

As I prepare to celebrate another birthday on June 11th, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on where I started, where I am today, and why Glow After Dark University was created.

The truth is, Glow After Dark University was born from my own experiences.

Over the years, I’ve served in the Army, earned my MBA, become a Licensed Real Estate Professional, a Licensed Esthetician, a Published Author, and a Business Owner.

While I’m proud of those accomplishments, what people don’t always see are the challenges that came with them.

There were times when I needed guidance and couldn’t find it.

Times when I needed answers and didn’t know who to ask.

Times when I had goals, ambition, and a vision for my future, but lacked the mentorship, resources, accountability, and support system that could have helped me move faster and avoid unnecessary setbacks.

As I reflected on my own journey, I realized something:

If I was experiencing these challenges, there were countless others experiencing them too.

People looking for direction.

People trying to improve their finances.

People trying to start a business.

People trying to buy a home.

People trying to build a better life for themselves and their families.

That’s when I decided to create something I never had.

Glow After Dark University.

A place where people could learn.

A place where people could ask questions.

A place where people could gain access to resources, accountability, education, and real conversations about life, business, finances, wellness, and personal growth.

What makes Glow After Dark University different is that I don’t teach from theory alone.

I’ve lived many of the lessons I’m sharing.

Some lessons I’ve mastered.

Some lessons I’m still learning.

But every lesson has helped shape the woman, entrepreneur, veteran, author, and leader I am today.

Glow After Dark University isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about growing together.

Because sometimes one conversation, one connection, one resource, or one piece of guidance can completely change the direction of someone’s future.

As I prepare to celebrate my 34th birthday on June 11th, I’ve been reflecting on a part of my journey that many people don’t know.

Golden Glow Beauty Spa was never just about body oil.

It started with me.

Over the years, I was diagnosed with several skin and health-related conditions that led me to become more curious about skincare, wellness, and the beauty industry. What began as a personal search for answers eventually inspired me to pursue a career as a Licensed Esthetician.

At one point, my goal was to become both a Licensed Esthetician and an Electrologist. I studied advanced beauty treatments and developed a passion for helping people feel more confident in their skin.

As I continued learning, I was introduced to the teachings of Dr. Sebi and the importance of wellness, nutrition, and healing from the inside out. That experience changed my perspective and helped me realize that beauty, wellness, confidence, and overall health are deeply connected.

Golden Glow Beauty Spa was created from that vision.

The Golden Glow Body Oil was simply the first step.

As I enter Chapter 34, I am excited about the future of Golden Glow Beauty Spa and grateful for everyone who continues to support the journey.

This is only the beginning. ✨
