The Mission Me 2.0 audiobook is coming this month.

This feels like more than a new format for the book.
It feels like a new doorway back into the Mission Me 2.0 world.

This book was never meant to sit on a shelf. It was written as a companion, a guide, and a place to pause when life feels loud, heavy, or disconnected.

The audiobook makes that experience more accessible.

You can listen while driving, walking, cleaning, resting, getting ready, or moving through the ordinary moments of your life.

When it launches, I am thinking about opening a free virtual Mission Me 2.0 book club inside the Facebook group.

Nothing heavy.

One chapter.
One theme.
One conversation.
One honest pause.

You can read the book, listen to the audiobook, or simply come be part of the conversation.

Because yes, you can get the book.
But you can also get me.

Would you want an invite when it opens?

Sharing this feels vulnerable.

Like most of us, I can watch myself and immediately see the places I want more strength, more stamina, more technique, more of the dancer I remember being.

But I’m choosing to see something else too.

This was my first showcase in 7 years.

Since my brain tumor diagnosis.
Since healing through that season.
Since completely changing my life.
Since learning what it means to come back to my body instead of punish it.

I’m not where I want to be yet, but I am here.

I showed up.
I trusted the process.
I stepped back onto the floor.
And I let myself be seen.

Dance has always been one of the places I feel most alive, honest, and connected to myself. So this performance was about more than the steps. It was about returning.

Thank you to Fred Astaire Plymouth for creating such a beautiful, supportive space and for seeing the heart behind the work.

Here’s to rebuilding, returning, and letting ourselves be seen before we feel perfectly ready.

The earlier signal is still a signal.
Your body should not have to get louder before you listen.

The tension, the crash, the irritability, the sleep disruption, the skipped meal, the heavier body, the promise that you will slow down after the next thing.

Those things are not random.
They are information.

Inside Mission Me 2.0, we look at what happens before the signal gets louder.

What pace have you normalized?
What recovery is missing?
What boundary keeps getting moved?
What conversation keeps getting delayed?
Where are you overriding yourself and calling it discipline?

Because the goal is not to wait until your body forces the issue.

The goal is to listen sooner and adjust earlier.

Not every season feels inspired.
Sometimes you are in a funk.

Not falling apart. Not completely off track. Just foggy, distracted, pulled in too many directions, and not quite able to access the clean energy you usually create from.

That has been me the past few days.

Family dynamics taking up space. Dance showcase energy. Website rebrand work. A little overwhelm. A little fog. No strong inspiration that felt ready to become content.

The old version of me would have pushed harder and made that mean something was wrong.
Now I try to read it differently.

Sometimes the fog is information.
Sometimes distraction is not laziness. It is your system saying there are too many open tabs, too much emotional noise, and not enough space to hear yourself clearly.

That does not mean you quit.
It means you simplify.

One next step.
One honest priority.
One thing scheduled so you do not disappear completely.
One place where you stop demanding full capacity from a body and mind that are asking for a little more steadiness.

This is part of the work too.

Not just the polished moments.
Not just the breakthroughs.

The days where you notice the fog, stop making yourself wrong for it, and choose the next supportive step anyway.

That is still Mission Me.

There are seasons where you can be functioning on the outside and feel completely lost inside your own life.

You know something needs to change, but you cannot quite name what it is.
You are tired of trying to find your way back from inside the same thoughts, responsibilities, and pressure that pulled you away from yourself in the first place.

That is the kind of season Joanne is speaking to here.
This is what Mission Me 2.0 is built for.

When insight is not enough anymore, you need more than another conversation that sounds good in the moment.

You need support that helps you see the pressure point, separate the tangle, and identify what actually needs to change first.

Because when you feel lost, you do not need more noise.
You need someone who can help you name what is actually happening.

When you cannot see your own strength, you do not need to be told to “just believe in yourself.”
You need support that helps you find evidence of it again.

And when purpose feels far away, it usually is not gone.
It is buried under pressure, responsibility, survival, and the version of you who learned to keep going no matter what it was costing.

Mission Me 2.0 gives you a place to stop circling and start coming back to yourself with support, direction, and a next step you can actually take.

Who do you know who needs this kind of support?
Help me put Mission Me 2.0 in their hands.

Stop Turning Wellness Into Another Place to Fail.

Wellness can start with a good intention and still turn into one more place where you feel like you are failing.

The plan may look healthy on paper. The rule may sound responsible. The reset may feel like the thing that should finally get you back on track.

But if it makes you treat your body like a problem to control, it is not support.
It is pressure with better branding.

That is the part I want you to notice.

Your body is not asking you to disappear inside someone else’s template. It is asking you to pay attention to the life it is actually living.

Food does not happen in a vacuum.
It happens inside the day you are having, the stress you are carrying, the energy you have available, and the way you have learned to override yourself.

So the first question is not, “How do I get stricter?”
The first question is, “What is my body responding to?”

That question changes the work.
Now you are no longer forcing a plan onto a body you have barely listened to.
You are looking at the conditions around the pattern.

Maybe the issue is not that you need more discipline.
Maybe your body has been asking for steadier support, and the only language you were taught to answer with was control.

Inside Mission Me 2.0, we look at the whole picture before we decide what needs to change first.

Because your food, rhythm, stress, energy, body signals, and self-trust are not separate lives.
They are all part of the same one.

When support fits the life you are actually living, wellness stops being another performance.
It becomes something you can actually use.

Before you blame your body, look at the rhythm you are living in.

Your body may not be failing you.
It may be responding to the signals it keeps receiving.

Start small.

Morning light.
A real meal before the crash.
A slower evening.
A walk outside.
One honest pause.

Not because your body is the problem.
Because your body is listening.

Sometimes work is the right choice.
Sometimes life is.

This week gave me both.

I had an all-day business mastermind I invested in. Dance was also on my calendar, and I love dance.

But that day, the right decision was to be fully present for the mastermind.

The investment mattered.
The opportunity mattered.
The room mattered.
The return on that investment mattered.

So I rescheduled dance.
That was not me abandoning myself.
That was me being honest about what mattered most in that moment.

Then I had a meaningful family responsibility come up that overlapped with work I care deeply about.

That mattered too.
I was willing to move the work if I needed to, because life was asking for my presence somewhere else.

Because I noticed it early and acted honestly, I was able to make the adjustment without losing either.

This same theme came up in a client session too.

Different details, same question:
What actually matters most right now?

That is discernment.
Discernment is not about following one fixed rule.

Sometimes the work matters most because the investment, opportunity, or commitment deserves your full presence.

Sometimes life asks for you somewhere else, and the most aligned move is to honor that.

The real work is learning to tell the truth in the actual moment instead of choosing from guilt, pressure, habit, or what looks right from the outside.

This is the work I teach because this is the work I live.

Real life does not hand you perfectly separated categories.
It hands you your calendar, your health, people you love, work you care about, commitments you made, and moments where you have to decide what matters most right now.

That is why discernment matters.
Because the answer is not always obvious from the outside.

Sometimes work is the right choice.
Sometimes life is.

The real work is knowing the difference.

Before you blame your body, look at the rhythm you are living in.

Your body may not be failing you.
It may be asking for clearer signals.

Light tells the body when to wake up.
Darkness helps it wind down.
Food timing gives information.
Movement helps energy move.
Quiet gives the mind and nervous system somewhere to settle.

This is why rhythm matters so much in whole-person work.

Not rigid routines.
Not perfect wellness rules.
Rhythm.

Because we are not separate from nature.
We were never meant to live like machines, override every signal, and then blame the body for responding.

A few minutes of morning light.
A slower evening.
Food that supports your energy instead of punishing your body.
A walk when your body feels stuck.
Less noise before bed.
One honest pause to ask, “What do I need right now?”

These small things matter.

Not because they fix everything overnight.
Because they give your body better information.

Try this today:
Pick one signal to make clearer.

More light in the morning.
Less light at night.
One supportive meal.
Ten quiet minutes.
A walk outside.

Start there.

Not because your body is the problem.
Because your body is listening.

Sometimes the life changes before the rules do.

You may be in a new chapter, but still obeying old instructions.

Be easy. Stay useful. Prove you can handle it. Do not need too much.

Inside Mission Me 2.0, we look at what still fits, what no longer does, and what this chapter actually requires from you now.

What old rule are you still following?
