Dallas Lipscomb DMSc, PA-C DFAAPA was an amazing guest for our first fireside chat for the University of Lynchburg School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Lynchburg Doctor of Medical Science Program (DMSc) and healthcare entrepreneurship. The future of healthcare will be determined by the courageous healthcare disruptors and innovators who address market challenges. The DMSc degree prepares students for this and in this phenomenal presentation, we discussed rural health clinics and how to open up your own clinic as a PA. Specifically discuss this for New Mexico, but it applies to all states. We discuss how to appropriately address it as a not for profit versus for-profit, federally qualified health clinics, how to set up a business plan, EMR, office support, and how to be successful.
