Eastern Oregon IPA

Eastern Oregon IPA Eastern Oregon IPA works with independent health care providers. EOIPA’s administrative staff organizes the delivery of care.

We help them with things like working with insurance companies so they can focus on providing excellent medical care to our communities. Our Strengths

Excellent support staff - Eastern Oregon IPA support staff coordinates and manages the day-to-day activities of the IPA. This includes provider relations outreach activities, gathering of physician documentation for credentialing purposes, negoti

ating third-party payor contracts, and handling the finances of the IPA. Provider Office assistance - Our member physicians are devoted to the delivery of personalized, high-quality, cost-effective health care. The advantages of belonging to an IPA are the functions the IPA performs for independent medical practices. We negotiate contracts with insurance companies; credential member physicians, process prior authorizations and referrals for EOCCO (Eastern Oregon Community Care Organization) members residing in Morrow and Umatilla Counties and ensure the fiscal integrity of the IPA itself. Leveraged risk and savings - EOIPA is capable of assuming greater degrees of financial risks than our individual physicians. The IPA can wield far greater bargaining power than individual physicians or “networks,” and we are able to undertake administrative functions that reduce healthcare costs. Our collective strength enables our physicians to manage their practices efficiently and to receive fair compensation for the care they provide.
