It was a pleasure meeting and reconnecting with so many wonderful people at Lifespan's recent Meet & Greet Breakfast.

I enjoyed learning more about the incredible work Lifespan does every day to support older adults, caregivers, and families throughout our community. It truly takes a village, and I am grateful to partner with organizations that share a commitment to helping older adults live healthier, more connected lives.

🎉 From Bedside to Business — Two Years of ConnectCare MD!
Today marks two years since the launch of ConnectCare MD, and I couldn’t be more grateful. 💙

What a year it has been. A year of continued learning, growth, and the incredible honor of walking alongside patients, families, and like-minded professionals who also believe in a better way to navigate healthcare in our community.

Thank you to every person who has supported, referred, partnered, or simply cheered me on. You’ve helped make ConnectCare MD what it is today. I can’t wait to see what year three brings!

Two doctors walk into a "bar"...

Well, not exactly.

What happened next was a chance to catch up with a fellow physician (House Call for Seniors) while surrounded by so many people who support older adults in our communty at the Webster Senior Resource Fair.

Sometimes connection happens through conversation… and sometimes through sea glass. 🌊✨

Thank you to Gutta and Kaplan for hosting such a fun evening filled with creativity, laughter, sea glass, and wonderful new connections. A true win all around!

Yesterday I made lemonade. 🍋

Clearly I was still in vacation mode because I showed up with sunglasses on my head and did not even realize they were there.

I had the privilege of speaking to a wonderful group of ladies at Wilcox Lane Senior Apartments about empowerment at medical appointments. I brought my laptop, a prepared presentation, and even doughnuts.

What I did not expect to find... lemons.

The HDMI cord fit my computer perfectly, except the other end was unusable. I moved the TV stand away from the wall trying to access the ports when one participant laughed and said,
“Doc, you move furniture too?!?”

Then I opened my laptop and found about 50 internet options but not a single password.

So we made lemonade.

We moved chairs into a circle, passed out the cheat sheets, and had a wonderful conversation filled with shared experiences, empowerment, laughter, and ideas for better medical appointments ahead.

I called it my “fireside chat” without the fire. 😊

Sometimes the best connections happen when things do not go according to plan.
