First, we cut a hole through the shoe then add a patch of leather that pushes out bigger than the original size of the shoe to provide relief to the inflicted area.

Here we added a half an inch elevation onto the white shoe and also will be adding a half an inch elevation to the gray next. And this job was done under sole to preserve the looks also added detailing to help hide it more 😎

This 1 1/2” shoe lift/elevation was done on a waterproof muck boot. We used a vibram sole for the long life and aggressive tread. But most of all this shoe modification does not affect the waterproof aspect of the boot.
