Purple Queen Tree Collard/Kale is a new (and delicious) addition to our Grove. A salad growing on a stick that can reach up to 7 feet tall if not harvested fast enough. If you love eating your greens, consider adding this to your garden.

My locator spell needs work...🚧

I realized that I had misplaced my artisan garden markers. I absolutely treasure these particular markers because they were created by a local artist that I commissioned especially for our Grove. I thought I had stored the markers for the season inside, but alas, they were not there! That meant I left them to be consumed within the depths of my Grove.

Well after 2 years of mulching and replanting, finding those markers was a long shot. So I considered this an opportunity to exercise practicing my different locator spells.

So far, I've found 8 out of 11 markers.
- 3 were from memory
- 3 were from a mix of memory and spell work
- 2 are from pure spell work

Now let's talk about the spell work. First I started off with my normal:

"Show me where to dig to find my plant markers."

After several yards of digging and indeed finding "plant markers" that were the nursery plastic stakes version, I realized that my request was NOT detailed enough. 🥵

New request became:

"Guide me where to where my custom made plant markers lie."

This took me to all the custom labeled metal garden stakes that I had made. Sigh. 😒

Third request became:

"Guide me where to where my artisan made plant markers lie that were created by Mercedes."

That's were I found the 2 from yesterday before I ran out of light. 🥳

Today I hope to find the last three markers.

I have started the spell this morning with requesting help from the Earth:

"Push atop the surface and reveal the artisan markers I seek and anything else I need to be aware of before I begin my search later today."

A few hours later and in the exact area I need to focus on, surfaced this quiet Being to let me know to search gently and carefully later today.

I sure hope the Earth pushed up those markers atop the surface too.... 🤣

A visit from a local ecologist gave us a delightful discovery! This is Spring Lady’s Tresses (Spiranthes vernalis), a native Florida terrestrial orchid. To avoid her demise via lawn mower, she has been carefully transplanted into this pot until I can gather up a larger and safer environment for her to thrive in.
