New things being learned and PRs being hit!! Colton making his percentages look easy so we kept going hitting an 8kg PR in the sn**ch, kid will be moving some weight, Aiva making her percentages look easy so that’s telling these aren’t her correct numbers anymore and our youngest Lukas learning the fundamentals and making it look better and better!!

gets her own post because she was the last one to hit PRs after the end of the cycle and she killed it! Before going back to work she hit a clean and jerk, clean and new back squat PR. Cleaning some things up and making things look smooth!

Some more big PRs from the week and now onto a new cycle! Going to lead it off with Colin .shelton_ the same week after he competed he his an 82kg sn**ch and a 110! Jaedon hitting a new clean, sn**ch, back squat and push press PR! HUGE huge week for him. Miles just 2 months in cleaning up some technique with some work to do but killing a new clean and jerk PR!! Alex damn near power clean 98 PR knocking on the door or 100 very soon. 13 year old Mikenna easily hitting a 55kg clean and jerk just days after her meet and lastly I came across an old video of when OG Alex hitting a clean and jerk PR of 175 at one of the Bham slams few year ago.

On Saturday a couple of us traveled to .weightlifting as they put on the Bham slam. It’s always an amazing well put together meet and the people there are phenomenal! Everyone did absolutely brilliant! First off we had 12 yr old Mikenna shaking off some first time meet nerves and going 5/6 after a missed opening sn**ch qualifying her for states and nationals and earning bronze out of all youths. This kid is going to be a monster. Same session we had Katie pulling off her best meet as of yet going 5/6 and qualifying her for states. Up next Colin .shelton_ stepping on the usaw platform for the first Time and going 6/6 with a sn**ch lifetime PR takin home silver out of all juniors. And lastly Coach got his heavy butt on the platform to join the fun going 5/6 sn**ching 100 clean and jerking 125! Not bad for only training 3 times in 2 months. All in all the Bham slam was a great experience for all!

This is going to take multiple posts because it’s been such a big week (and to think someone said his athletes don’t progress). We had some huge numbers come up this week. Boys weightlifting season is coming to an end as we head into states and we can focus on nationals in June. Amari has been working her butt off in the gym and it’s showing hitting a 5kg Pr sn**ch and more PRs on more of her lifts. Mama OT hittin some new BIG numbers just 2 weeks after nationals. Colin going into his first USAW meet and going 6/6 with a sn**ch PR and a match his clean and jerk PR. Will crushing a new 150kg PR on his clean and jerk at districts. Myles hitting a new sn**ch PR at his districts of 95. Alera only here for 3 months and hitting a new sn**ch PR and new comer jack killing some new numbers!

I know it’s late but I’ve been waiting on people to send me their videos (still haven’t gotten a lot of them) and being in SLC for masters and university nationals! Districts was a success! Some medals were made and PRs were hit! Now on to regionals next week and states!!

Masters and university nationals! Salt lake was beautiful the lifts were fantastic!! OT our master woman came super close to medaling but did a great job and placed 4th and big dawg Noah didn’t do what he wanted to in the sn**ch but came back and made a comp PR in the clean and jerk!
