This will be my last post on this page and I’ll be taking the page down by the end of the week.

Thank you for following me and supporting my page. Based on the interactions with my page, either the interest in or need for information relating to living with a stoma is dwindling. I’m hoping that is because people are taking advantage of the many other resources available.

As I researched for information to distribute on my page, I found more information than I realized was available.

To be honest, my stoma is the least concerning health issue I am dealing with at the moment. I am so busy trying to find relief for this excruciating pain that I feel I am neglecting this page.

I know that there are many other resources available now, so I can shut down this page without worry.

I wish you the best and encourage you to continue seeking answers for your stoma issues.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned any of these before, but if so, forgive me.
1) growths around the stoma- like skin tags or warts. Surgeon says they are normal but if they impede proper fit of the bag, he will remove them.
2) temperature of the skin around the stoma. Sometimes it’s so hot it loosens the bag adhesive. Any ideas?
3) sudden problem with dairy foods. Any ideas?

My mobility has declined significantly this year, making it hard to move around my home safely and maintain my independence. I’m seeking support to purchase a Vela chair with power wheels and a hydraulic lift, which will help me reach my kitchen, navigate doorways, and care for myself more easily. Your help can make a real difference in my daily life and safety. Please consider sharing or donating if you can—every bit helps me regain my independence. Thank you so much for your kindness! 🙏✨
