PEOPLE ARE SO UNAWARE OF HOW MUCH THEIR EVERYDAY ENVIRONMENT MAY BE AFFECTING HOW THEY FEEL.

Headaches?

Migraines?

Hormonal issues?

Difficult periods?

Mood swings?

Irritability?

Weight changes?

Breakouts?

Rashes?

Digestive problems?

Inflammation?

Fatigue?

Poor sleep?

You feel terrible—and assume your body just randomly stopped functioning the way it should?

It may be time to LOOK AROUND YOUR HOUSE.

We spend enormous amounts of time surrounded by products we breathe, touch, wear, wash our clothes in, sleep in, clean with, and put directly on our skin.

And one ingredient category worth paying attention to is sitting right there on countless labels:

FRAGRANCE.
PARFUM.
PERFUME.

Those words can represent mixtures of numerous fragrance ingredients rather than identifying every individual component directly on the label.

And fragrance is only one place to start.

Take a look at the ingredients found across conventional cosmetics, toiletries, perfumes, sunscreens, hair products, detergents, cleaning products, and personal-care products:

PHTHALATES — some have raised endocrine and reproductive concerns.

FORMALDEHYDE AND FORMALDEHYDE-RELEASING PRESERVATIVES — associated with irritation and sensitization; formaldehyde itself is a known human carcinogen.

PARABENS — preservatives that have received attention because of their potential hormone-like activity.

OXYBENZONE.

HOMOSALATE.

TRICLOSAN.

ETHANOLAMINES.

BHA.

BHT.

SILOXANES.

SLES.

PROPYLENE GLYCOL.

PETROLATUM.

TALC.

SYNTHETIC DYES.

Not every ingredient on that list carries the same risk, and exposure, concentration, route, and individual susceptibility matter.

But here’s the bigger point:

EXPOSURE ADDS UP.

Think about a normal day.

You wash your hair with it.

Wash your body with it.

Put products on your face.

Apply deodorant.

Spray perfume or cologne.

Wash your clothes in scented detergent.

Add fabric softener.

Throw in a dryer sheet.

Sleep on fragranced sheets.

Clean your floors with scented products.

Spray your furniture.

Use air freshener.

Plug fragrance into the wall so it releases continuously.

Then light a scented candle.

And we rarely stop to consider the TOTAL chemical and fragrance load we’re creating in our own homes.

Then we wonder:

“Why do I always have headaches?”

“Why is my skin irritated?”

“Why am I exhausted?”

“Why are my migraines getting worse?”

“Why do I feel lousy in my own house?”

“Why am I constantly trying to fix one symptom after another?”

Your environment may not explain every symptom.

But it absolutely deserves a place in the conversation.

And hormones matter enormously.

They influence:

Mood.

Metabolism.

Menstrual cycles.

Reproductive function.

Stress response.

Sleep.

Hunger.

Energy.

Skin.

Weight regulation.

That’s exactly why potential endocrine-disrupting exposures deserve attention—not panic, but ATTENTION.

So start with something simple.

Go into your bathroom.

Your laundry room.

Your kitchen.

Your bedroom.

READ THE LABELS.

Look for:

FRAGRANCE
PARFUM
PERFUME

If your goal is to reduce unnecessary fragrance exposure, start eliminating the obvious sources:

Perfume and cologne.

Dryer sheets.

Fabric softener.

Scented detergent.

Air fresheners.

Plug-ins.

Scented candles.

Scented cleaning products.

Body sprays.

Fragranced creams and lotions.

Highly fragranced hair products.

You don’t have to overhaul your entire life overnight.

START REDUCING THE LOAD.

Because your house does not need to smell like “Spring Mountain Waterfall Cotton Candy Paradise” to be clean. 😂

CLEAN DOESN’T REQUIRE PERFUME.

FRESH AIR DOESN’T NEED A SYNTHETIC SCENT.

And before adding another pill, cream, supplement, treatment, or miracle product to address how you feel, consider another question:

WHAT CAN I REMOVE?

REMOVE.

SIMPLIFY.

CLEAN UP YOUR ENVIRONMENT.

PAY ATTENTION TO HOW YOUR BODY RESPONDS.

We spend so much time asking what we need to ADD to feel better.

Sometimes one of the smartest things we can do is start asking what we can TAKE AWAY.

Question the products you use every single day.

Read the labels.

Reduce unnecessary exposures.

Give your body—and your home—a cleaner baseline.

WAKE UP TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT. 🌿

A house they had to tear down. A wife doctors couldn't help. A son who saw 89 doctors before one of them finally believed him.

Eighty-nine doctors. Sit with that. In this community, that is not a rare story. That is Tuesday. This week, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services RFK Jr. spoke at a federal roundtable, sharing what made his own family sick.

And the stats on the record are staggering. By the data cited in that room, fungal disease is tied to roughly 130,000 hospitalizations and 13 million doctor visits in the US every year, at a cost near $19 billion, and he said we don't even track it properly yet, so the real number is almost certainly higher.

For years, if you felt like you were the only one in the room who knew the truth, this week the room got a lot bigger.

Today, mold may be a whisper. But together, it is becoming a roar. Join the movement and help strengthen the voice of others.

"Mold Illness Is Real" apparel is now for sale! Link in the comments.
