Today at Accolade Healthcare of Peoria, we pause to remember September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation.
We honor the lives lost, the families who continue to carry their loved ones in their hearts, and the brave first responders, military members, healthcare workers, and everyday heroes who showed courage and compassion when our country needed them most.
Our residents carry decades of memories and stories, and today we remember together — with gratitude for those who served, those who sacrificed, and the strength that brought our country together.

🧸❤️ Happy National Teddy Bear Day! ❤️🧸

Our residents had a fun time learning how teddy bears got their name and discovering some famous teddy bear brands! They also got creative with a special teddy bear craft. 🐻🎨

To make the day even more special, some of our residents posed with a Teddy Roosevelt teddy bear from Medora, North Dakota—the home of the first national park named after Theodore Roosevelt! 🇺🇸🧸

We had so much fun celebrating all things teddy bears! ❤️

💚 HELP US FIGHT HUNGER! 💚

In observance of National Food Bank Day, Accolade Health Care of Peoria is hosting a Non-Perishable Canned Food Drive this Friday, September 4th!

We’re asking our staff, residents, families, and community friends to help us fill a box—or two!—with non-perishable canned and pantry items.

ALL donations will be donated to a local food bank to help support individuals and families right here in our community. ❤️

Every can may seem small, but together, we can make a BIG difference!

Please help us celebrate our amazing August Employee of the Month, Reese! ❤️

Reese says one of her favorite things about working at Accolade is getting to interact with our residents and employees, who she proudly calls her “work family.” She says our staff is truly great, and she wouldn’t trade her Accolade family for the world!

When she’s not at work, Reese loves spending time with her daughters and family, relaxing, and—of course—spending some money! 😂💸

Reese would like to thank the entire Accolade family for welcoming her and allowing her to be a part of something so special. ❤️
