Congrats Sierra!!10 years! Thank you for your support over these years! We really appreciate you and your family.

From Sierra's mom Nickie Pellegrini:
This month marks TEN YEARS since we found out Sierra had a brain tumor. Thankfully it was benign and removed shortly after we found out!! 🩶 We all know that this is not always the case and there's always more research to be done. Every year we attend the walk and raise money for the Mark Linder Walk For The Mind, which funds brain tumor research in Peoria.

So.....Sierra wants to throw a party to celebrate being tumor free for 10 years and we want to thank our family and friends for their unwavering support during this time!! Sunday March 29th from 2:00 until about 6:00 at Riverfront Bar & Grill! And we're going to have a 50/50 with proceeds going to the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind. Please stop in and join us if you can!!

If you can't make it but still want in on the 50/50, we are selling tickets ahead of time. Tickets are $5 each or 5/$20. Just text or message me or Nick and we will send you pics of your tickets. Cash or venmo (-Pellegrini) works! We will draw the winner on March 29th at the end of the party!!

15th Annual Team Trivia Fundraiser to Benefit the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind!

Pekin’s VFW, 1232 Veterans Dr. on the following 2026 Sundays: 2/1, 2/15, 2/22, & 3/1. We take Superbowl Sunday, 2/8 off.

$10 per player per week, which includes free brain food. And, you can bring your own team or join one of ours. No outside devices are allowed & if you have any questions, please call host, Paul Robertson 309.241.7052.

Our donors include: BC BBQ, Whiskey Taco, Broadway Liquors, Monical’s, Purdue’s, Aggatucci’s, Mashies, & Jimmy John’s.

As the year 2025 is quickly coming to a close, we can't help but think about how amazing our annual walk was! Seeing all the smiling faces on Walk Day and knowing we are all in the fight against brain tumors together, is what drives us!

Eli's Coffee Shop is a true community supporter and we are thankful for their partnership over the years!

On this , I can’t think of a better use of our platform than to remind you of need right here in our own communities, and spotlight the groups coming alongside to help. Through our monthly program, you’ve allowed us to donate over $10,000 this year already, and we still have one more month to go!

But beyond those very real and helpful dollars, my hope is that this program can bring awareness to these tremendous groups to my customers. Each organization is focused on the tangible good within their scope right here, right now. They resist the pull of cynicism and keep showing up for their kids, their veterans, their cancer patients, their elderly and differently abled, their communities.
