This is a post from another small company offering quality alternative products. They talk about the same things that Granny J went through in standing on our feet.
“If you have never had banks cancel you because they claim you “sell drugs,” then you probably will not understand why our disclaimers are written the way they are.
Find me another small herbalist selling over 600 bottles of herbal products in 70 days. Find me another small family operation ordering 800 bottles at a time just trying to keep up. Find me someone willing to put their name, livelihood, Family, and business on the line while questioning laws, policies, and systems that they believe are not applied equally.
I STAND BEHIND MY PRODUCTS.
But standing behind my products does not mean I trust my government.
I get to see firsthand what government policies, corporations, banks, and institutions can do to ordinary people. I have watched accounts get shut down. I have watched businesses be pressured. I have watched people discover very quickly that the word “freedom” does not always mean what they thought it meant.
This so-called “free nation” showed just how conditional some of those freedoms can become the moment companies began threatening people’s livelihoods and firing workers over decisions involving their own bodies and consciences.
So yes, our labels have disclaimers.
Yes, our website has disclaimers.
And yes, sometimes the language may sound stronger than you think it needs to be.
That does NOT mean I don’t believe in what we grow, make, bottle, and sell. It means I understand that when you are responsible for feeding your family, protecting a small farm, and serving hundreds of customers, you had better understand the system you’re operating inside.
And Scripture never taught me that earthly governments were the source of true freedom anyway.
“They promise them liberty, while they themselves are servants of corruption.” — 2 Peter 2:19
My trust is not in a bank.
My trust is not in a corporation.
My trust is not in government.
I will never confuse compliance with trust.
And if anyone questions whether we truly stand behind our products, understand this:
We have turned down multiple offers from distributing companies that wanted to take our products, relabel them, and mark the price up by as much as $40.
Why?
Because our goal was never to squeeze every possible dollar out of these products.
We could have handed them over. We could have let another company put its name on what we built. We could have watched the price climb and taken our cut.
We said no.
We want the everyday family to be able to afford what we make. We would rather keep doing the work ourselves and keep the price within reach than watch something we created become another overpriced product that ordinary people struggle to afford.
That should tell you something about where we stand.
We aren’t trying to build something so large that we forget the people we started serving in the first place.
I stand behind Yahuah’s Farm.
I stand behind what we make.
I stand behind keeping it affordable.
And above everything else, I answer to my Father.
