If your workouts look exactly like they did 3 months ago, your body has no reason to change. 📈

Comfort maintains. Stress transforms. If you want to build muscle, you have to force your body to adapt through progressive overload.

Here are a few tips on how to safely level up your lifting:

1️⃣Add Reps: If you have hit the top of your rep range with perfect form, Add a bit more weight and start building reps again.

2️⃣Increase your load: If you can complete your sets with ease, it’s time to move up to a heavier set of dumbbells or add some more plates to the bar.

3️⃣Improve Ex*****on: Perfecting your form, increasing your range of motion, or slowing down your tempo adds extra tension to your muscles.

4️⃣Track Your Lifts: Take out the guess work! If you aren't logging your sets, reps, and weight, you have no idea what kind of progress you're making.

Muscles do not grow on wishes—they grow on work and progressive consistency.

Ever found yourself staring at an empty plate, immediately struck with a wave of guilt?

Same. 🙋🏼‍♀️

For a long time, even up until recently, I let single meals direct my mood. I’d finish a dessert or a "cheat meal" and instantly think I had "ruined everything," which would send me into a spiral of negative thoughts.

But here's the thing: Food is just food.
It has no moral value. Eating something "off-plan" doesn't erase all your hard work.

The mental weight of that guilt actually does more damage than the food itself. Life is meant to be lived, and that includes enjoying that pizza you had Friday night, the cake you had at that birthday party on Saturday, or the drink you had at brunch on Sunday, without over-analyzing every single calorie.

What you do most of the time matters more than what you do some of the time.

Your next meal is just an opportunity to nourish your body again. Forgive yourself, enjoy the memory, and jump right back into your healthy habits today. You've got this! 🤎💪

Ranking my daily hydration expectations:

Coffee intake: Exceeds expectations (clearly)

Water intake: Historically underperforming

The routine that helps me stay on track:

1. Drink a glass of water before I have any coffee or food.

2. Keep a 40 oz cup on me at all times. If it is empty by noon, I'm winning.

3. A collection of pretty cups that I can match to my outfit.

Drop a 💧 in the comments if you need to go drink water right now.

Think you're imagining that stress?

If you love to eat highly processed foods and adding extra salt to your food, you may be putting your body in a constant state of chemical panic.

A high sodium diet can spike cortisol (the body's main stress hormone), which can cause an increase in visceral fat & insulin resistance.

This could be the reason you're struggling to lose weight!

Don't worry, you can fix it!

You can balance high sodium levels by eating foods that are rich in potassium, such as bananas & avocados.

Limit processed foods and try to eat mostly whole foods.

Drink plenty of water to help your kindness flush out the extra sodium.

Save this post to remind yourself next time you get a salty craving!

Your biggest flex isn't how much weight you pushed in the gym.

It's the daily habits you create that align with your goals.

💪🏼You got up and moved today:

💪🏼Cleaned the house.

💪🏼Played with the kids.

💪🏼Cooked a meal for the family.

💪🏼You made good food choices:

💪🏼Ate at least one healthy meal every day this week.

💪🏼Hit your water intake goal at least once this week.

💪🏼Didn't feel guilty for that one day that you didn't quite stick to your meal plan.

💪🏼You made time for family, friends, & fun:

💪🏼Planned fun activities with the family to prevent overworking yourself.

💪🏼Did something spontaneous with friends to keep some excitement in your life.

These are the real flexes.

These are the ones that keep you grounded & happy, which keep you motivated to keep going.

What's your biggest non-gym flex this week?
