Ever found yourself staring at an empty plate, immediately struck with a wave of guilt?
Same. 🙋🏼♀️
For a long time, even up until recently, I let single meals direct my mood. I’d finish a dessert or a "cheat meal" and instantly think I had "ruined everything," which would send me into a spiral of negative thoughts.
But here's the thing: Food is just food.
It has no moral value. Eating something "off-plan" doesn't erase all your hard work.
The mental weight of that guilt actually does more damage than the food itself. Life is meant to be lived, and that includes enjoying that pizza you had Friday night, the cake you had at that birthday party on Saturday, or the drink you had at brunch on Sunday, without over-analyzing every single calorie.
What you do most of the time matters more than what you do some of the time.
Your next meal is just an opportunity to nourish your body again. Forgive yourself, enjoy the memory, and jump right back into your healthy habits today. You've got this! 🤎💪
