Ok, here we go…. We had a great meeting a couple weeks back. Eric Kurkowski is our new president, Joshua Childs is our sergeant at arms and I will continue on as the secretary/treasurer. We will bowl on 9/13, 10/4, 10/25, 11/29, 12/20, 1/17, 1/31, 2/28 and 3/21.
It was voted to do the bracket play again, we are splitting it between 4/10 and 4/11. There are no bowl outs or subs for the bracket play. The winner of the bracket will get the traveling trophy.
Each bowler will pay $20 a week to bowl. If there are league fees due at the end of the season, they will come out of the teams prize money. Make sure you have teammates that are going to show up and pay. We are enforcing the maximum of 2 bowl outs per season this year. We do understand that things come up unexpectedly and those can be dealt with on a one on one basis.
Sanction fee is $27, this is a one time fee and will allow you to bowl in leagues at the Super Bowl or Ladd Lanes. Every bowler MUST sanction - even if they’re only bowling one time. Please pay attention to tournaments that your USBCIV sponsors throughout the year. They are fun and part of the fee you pay goes towards the expenses and prize money.
Sponsor fee is $70, it is due by 11/29. I shouldn’t have to chase down sponsor fees…
Please reach out to me, Eric or Josh if issues arise. Especially if something happens during bowling. It is easier to address issues as they happen as opposed to after the game is complete.
We will use the same 50/50 format, mystery pot and tip boards as before.
Please, everyone show up a little early on 9/13 so we can get sanction cards filled out.
