The world feels heavy lately — especially for those of us paying attention to what’s happening to the most vulnerable among us.

I can’t fix what’s happening out there. But I can make sure the people in my community are informed, resourced, and not navigating it alone. We gather on the new moon on purpose — because marking time differently is part of the point.

Co-Moon Threads is this Saturday, May 16, 7–9pm in Petaluma 🌑 We’ll be in the pop-up yurt (yes, really). Crafts, snacks, wine, good company. Location shared after RSVP.

A majority of people seeking abortion are already mothers. They have at least one child at home. They are making decisions rooted in love, circumstance, and the deep knowledge of what parenting actually requires.

Reproductive justice means every person gets to decide if, when, and how they become a parent — and gets the support they need whatever they choose.

Ah… the art and mathematics of coverlines.

Whats a coverline you ask? A coverline is a charting mechanism that helps the user interpret if their temperature is a part of a valid shift. When a certain number of temps (varies by method) are above the coverline, AND a change in consistency of fluid is expert, ovulation can be confirmed.

Returning to Instagram has never felt simple for me.

There’s the obvious stuff — the algorithm, the anxiety spiral, the likes as currency. But there’s also something harder to explain: so often when I sit down to post, something is happening in the world that makes the whole exercise feel beside the point.

And yet — community still matters. Local connection still matters. And this app, for all its flaws, is a low-barrier way to reach people.

So I’m back. Quietly, intentionally, and entirely on my own terms.
