Here's a simple, grounding exercise you can do during a work break to help you release tension, clear your mind, and reconnect with your energy flow. This practice combines visualization and breathing, making it a perfect mini-reset in a busy day.
Grounding & Clearing Exercise:
1. Find a Quiet Spot & Get Comfortable
Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor and your hands resting on your lap. Close your eyes and take a few slow, deep breaths, allowing your body to relax with each exhale.
2. Focus on Your Breath
Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of four, hold for a count of two, and then slowly exhale for a count of six. With each breath out, imagine releasing any tension, stress, or anxiety you may be holding.
3. Visualize Clearing & Grounding Energy
Picture a warm, golden light at the top of your head. This light is cleansing, gentle, and full of healing energy. As you inhale, imagine this light slowly moving down your body, flowing through your head, shoulders, arms, and all the way to your toes. Visualize it clearing away any “stuck” or heavy energy.
4. Release into the Earth
As the golden light moves down, picture it collecting any negative energy or stress and gently releasing it down through your feet into the earth. Visualize the earth absorbing this energy and neutralizing it. Feel yourself getting lighter and more grounded with each release.
5. Reconnect with Your Center
Once you feel clear, imagine a bright, radiant light at the center of your chest. Breathe into this space, feeling warmth and balance radiating outward. Picture this light expanding to fill your whole body with calm and focus.
6. Close the Practice
Take a final deep breath, bringing your awareness back to the room. Gently open your eyes, feeling renewed, centered, and ready to return to your day.
This quick, 5-minute practice can help you reset your energy and regain focus. By grounding yourself and releasing tension, you’ll be more present, centered, and prepared for the rest of your day. 💫
