This clock has been a symbol of Mystic Art Tattoo It was my favorite yard sale purchase, it wasn't even out for sale, it was in his shed . It didn't have a plug and you could' t see the neon at first glance, it actually has the advertisement attachment that goes across the top (it needs some sandblasting). It is a federal clock and I don't think the neon was used that much) probably from the 40's. I think I remember seeing it on the outside of a large cinder block building on rt 460 in Prince George that was torn down years ago. He wanted $20 and being a yard sale Brenda asked him if he would take $10 and it came into my possession. I post this history because yesterday my customer Wood McDowell found it on an auction site while we were working, the exact same clock without the advertising attachment for $9,500! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Darren,(thanks for the cool card) and all my Aussie mates, they loved it ( they as well as all my patrons who got to look at it alot.) I will never part with it. It represents my 21 years as Mystic Art Tattoo. Stop in and visit, or get some new ink or refurbish some old work, I'm not getting any younger, but call first to make sure I am in 804 524 2290. Hope to see you in the new year. This April will mark the 20th anniversary of Mystic Art Tattoo. Sometimes at the end of a productive day I like to sit and watch time run backwards on my famous clock which has watched down on so many patrons getting ink and think back on some of the times and people I have been blessed to know. Myself, Brenda and Leo would like to wish all our friends and mates a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Stay safe and well and come to see us again this new year.

This is retired Army Black Hawk pilot, Col. Neal Edmunds, first tattoo honoring the last unit he was deployed with and 2 of their brothers they lost, SSG Darryl Booker and Col. Paul M. Kelly. The source for the helicopter was an actual photo of his, with him piloting. I am also posting his patch which was the inspiration for the tattoo. On this Veteran's day Brenda and I wish to thank Neal, his brothers, and all my friends and patrons who have, and now serve, in all branches of the military, for their sacrifices (including my Aussie mates and their sacrifice for freedom) You are our heroes.
