Calling all golfers! The McLaren Northern Michigan Family Medicine Residency Golf Benefit will be held at The Highlands on Sunday, May 24.

The Family Medicine Residency–Rural Training Program brings future physicians to our region where they train, build relationships, and become part of the community. This annual golf event raises funds to support the program.

In the McLaren Northern Michigan ICU, nurses provide more than health care – they see patients as whole people and recognize the challenges of intensive care.

Eleanor Jones, RN, received a Guardian Angel award for doing just that.

While providing exceptional care for her patient, Eleanor saw an opportunity to go above and beyond their clinical needs. As the donor put it, ‘While some memories of my time in the ICU are vague, I definitely remember the time and gentleness Eleanor showed me. I will never forget what you did for me.’
