September’s Page & Pantry Spice Club packets are available now at the Petoskey District Library!

Stop by to pick up a free monthly spice kit featuring a unique ingredient provided by The Grain Train and discover a new flavor for your kitchen.

This month’s spice: Smoked Paprika

Smoky, sweet, earthy and mildly peppery, smoked paprika adds rich depth and vibrant color to everything from roasted vegetables and potatoes to meats, soups, beans and sauces.

Try it in guacamole, deviled eggs, tomato soup or vinaigrettes, or mix it with olive oil for roasted chicken. A versatile spice that’s great to keep on hand!

Spice kits are available at the library’s main desk while supplies last. Each kit includes smoked paprika, fun facts, recipes and a QR code linking to cookbooks from the library collection.

Limit one packet per household. Stop by, grab a kit, and discover a new favorite spice this month.

Their work helps preserve the waters we love and ensures they remain healthy for generations to come.

A few cents at checkout can go a long way. Thank you for rounding up and supporting the health of our waters and our community all month long.
