🌞 Celebrate the Summer Solstice- the longest day of the year- outdoors with a hike through Wissahickon Valley Park.

🌸 Yes, the actual Summer Solstice is Sunday June 21st, but we’re celebrating on Wednesday!

🌿 This hike offers a chance to spend extra time outdoors, savoring the extra sunlight from the longest day of the year (kinda)!

🥾 We’ll move at an easy, unhurried pace, taking time to engage our senses and fully soak in the surrounding nature and early light, experiencing the park in ways we may not have before.

Clips from last nights Earth Day Hike 🌎

Nature pulled out all the stops for us! White throated sparrows singing, bluebell lined trails, and the golden hour light hitting the Walnut Lane Bridge- so good. And so peaceful ✨

Went on a 5.3 mile solo hike this past Saturday to check out some new and old trails 🌿

Guess what— it’s officially spring in the Wisshickon! Birds are singing, trees are blooming and sun was shining bright through the foliage ☀️🦆🌸
