It is with heavy hearts that we remember our friend and colleague, Frank Holland.
For 23 years, Frank dedicated his career to serving the participants, families, and staff of Mercy LIFE West Philadelphia. His journey with Mercy LIFE was one of commitment, growth, and service. Frank began as a Driver, advanced to Lead Driver, then Dispatcher, and ultimately served as Transportation Supervisor. Throughout every role, he built meaningful relationships, provided unwavering support to those around him, and became a trusted and familiar presence in the lives of so many.
Mercy LIFE West Philadelphia was more than a workplace to Frank. It was where he built a career, a community, and a family. Frank met his wife, Stephanie, here many years ago when he was a Driver and she was his Van Assistant. Together, they built a life rooted in service, compassion, and commitment to others. Over the years, Frank and Stephanie became an integral part of the Mercy LIFE family, and many of us have had the privilege of watching their two children grow up alongside our organization. Their story is a testament to the meaningful connections, lasting friendships, and sense of family that make Mercy LIFE so special.
Frank's dedication to excellence and compassionate service earned him the distinction of being a two-time ACE of PACE Award recipient, an achievement he was incredibly proud of and one that reflected the profound impact he had on participants, families, and colleagues alike.
Those who knew Frank saw Trinity Health's Core Values in action every day. If you asked Frank for help, his response was almost always the same: "I got you." And he meant it. Those simple words reflected the way he lived and worked, with deep reverence for others, an unwavering commitment to safety, and the integrity that earned the trust and respect of participants, families, and colleagues alike. Whether he was ensuring safe transportation, supporting his team, mentoring a colleague, or stepping in to help wherever he was needed, Frank lived out his promise: "I got you."
Anyone who knew Frank knew how deeply he cared about Mercy LIFE West Philadelphia, our participants, and the community we serve. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched throughout West Philadelphia and within the halls of Mercy LIFE, where he devoted more than two decades of service.
We extend our deepest condolences to Stephanie, their family, friends, participants, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside Frank.
Frank will be greatly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever remain a part of the Mercy LIFE West Philadelphia story.
"Well done, good and faithful servant."
