Our next mateada is on Halloween!

Saturday, October 31, from 11 to 1pm at Washington Square Park. Bring a costume, a pumpkin, and your gourd (Or just bring yourself!).

It's casual, no structure, just a chance to hang out and maybe make some new friends. Bring your own yerba, and if you're new to mate, we'll have extra yerba, gourds, and bombillas to share so you can give it a try.

We had another awesome mateada here in Philadelphia. Every mateada brings such a nice mix of people (and pets) from all over.
It's a great feeling seeing so many strangers coming together to drink mate, share snacks, and to just hang out as fellow human beings. Alot of new friends were made and we're looking forward to the next one on Halloween!
Thanks so much to everyone who made it out and we drank some extra mate for everyone else who couldn't join us 🧉

Here's one way to sweeten your yerba mate: honey🍯

A softer sweetness that's easy to adjust to your own taste. If you're new to mate, it's worth trying before you settle on how you like it.

We used the Chaltén White insulated ceramic gourd here. Stoneware keeps it at temperature while you experiment.

Leather wrapped gourds to keep your hands cool and protect your yerba from the elements. We love these for the beach because the inside is stainless steel also, so we can just leave the yerba in the gourd for a full beach day.
