The cards were on the table at Logan Square Enhanced Senior Living!

Our residents tried their lucky hand at our new Blackjack table, complete with a real card table, chips, and an automatic shuffler. Kaelin, our Personal Care Administrator, was happy to deal, turning each hand into more time for conversation, laughter, and connection.

108 never looked so good!

Julie, affectionately known by residents and team members as “Grandma,” recently celebrated her 108th birthday surrounded by family, members of her local church, residents, and team members.

The day included a special musical performance by Meeta Parker, who specifically asked to perform on Julie’s birthday. As the oldest resident in our community, Julie has reached an extraordinary milestone, but even more special was seeing just how loved she is and how much joy she brings to those around her.

We made sailboat figurines in honor of summer!

Our Life Enrichment Assistant, Tasha, led our residents in a nautical themed craft this week. They make lovely decorations and our residents were able to completely customize them with paint!

Today is , a day to recognize the strength, resilience, and determination of the millions of individuals living with chronic disease.

The date 7/10 serves as a powerful reminder that 7 out of 10 deaths in the U.S. are caused by chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Raising awareness is an important step toward prevention, early intervention, and better health outcomes.

At our center, we are committed to supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses through personalized, compassionate care that empowers them every step of the way.

Today, we're also asking our team and community to reflect on who inspires them to keep going.

Logan Square Enhanced Senior Living was proud to celebrate Home, anew: 250 Voices of Belonging and Community, Celebrating Our Nation’s 250th Year during a special book signing with our residents, families, team members and community.

At Logan Square Enhanced Senior Living, it was especially meaningful to gather in celebration of the voices, memories and experiences that make this collection so powerful. Each story is unique, but together, they reflect something bigger: the American story itself, shaped by service, sacrifice, hard work, resilience, family and community.

The was a true celebration of stars, stripes, and summer smiles at Logan Square!
