This sweet boy definitely surprised us, and that surpaaaaased our expectations 2 weeks and 3 days post his estimated due date.

Congratulations to mom and dad to this baby born in August of this year, we hope your family is thriving and doing well, we loved getting to know you.

We had our first 1:1 Birth Assistant and Midwifery Assistant Trainee recently!

She said, “The class was awesome!”.

We had a great time. 5hrs of theory, discussion, as well as skills.

We visited the Awbury Arboretum and it reminded me of many gardens and trails I would visit when my offspring were younger.

It especially reminded me of a good idea for the first few months postpartum as a place that families can come in visit with new baby, to get out of the house, and find some tranquility. Try to pay them a visit!

CBC- Complete Blood Count

While these are just SOME of the components of your blood that we look at during assessment of a CBC blood test, they are three important ones!

Anemias during pregnancy are important to catch so we can help you get back on track, especially before the birth and postpartum.

We also look out for more serious conditions that are rare but important to know and catch as early as possible!
