Black birthing families deserve more than statistics they deserve support that shows up.

At Latched, we know breastfeeding disparities aren’t about what Black mothers lack. They’re about what systems have failed to provide: culturally responsive lactation care, paid leave, workplace accommodations, and providers who look like the families they serve.

This week, we’re honoring the doulas, IBCLCs, CLC’s peer support specialists and community health workers doing that work every day and recommitting to a future where every Black family has the support to feed their baby the way that’s right for them.
