Frens - we got the BBR Healing Justice Collective FREE.99 monthly food distribution with herbs and what not for the community on 04.25, 12-2p, in collab with & The People's Medicine Cabinet!

The SAME DAY we will be having BBR's quarterly open house. It's a time to visit the space and be nosey, use our free Wi-Fi, check out the resource library, have a snack and lay down somewhere. 11a-12p, 04.25

🌿 The People's Medicine Cabinet is a mutual aid herbal project for our community to receive free herbs & tinctures. We need donations of glass jars for tinctures and bags for herbs! Thanks for sharing and contributing!

Won’t you Celebrate with Me?

A year ago today, I (Chantelle) was honoring my great grandma, Mudah, on her birthday 09.20, when she instructed me to launch Black.Bird.Rising.

Today we celebrate her legacy and launch our newest project - BBR Botanica & Apothecary opening Halloween 2024. There will be a series of events and opportunities to support the project leading up to the opening.

Mudah is a patron ancestor, guide, Virgo Mastermind, care worker and sweet & spicy woman born and raised in Guyana, South America. She was a daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother and great great grandmother. When she transitioned to the Spirit realm she was 104 years old, full of faith, recipes and opinions. I am so grateful to be her descendant, grateful for her entrusting me with this healing work.
