This rose is for you, Mom,
in Heaven this Christmas.
It feels small compared to the love you gave me,
but it carries everything my heart cannot say out loud.
I miss you in quiet moments.
In busy ones too.
I miss your voice, your smile,
the way you made everything feel safe just by being there.
Some days the missing is gentle.
Other days it feels heavier than I can explain.
But loving you never stopped —
it only learned how to live with absence.
So I send this rose upward,
wrapped in memory, gratitude, and longing.
I miss you every day, Mom.
